Felt is the fourth studio album by Canadian band Suuns. It was released on March 2, 2018 under Secretly Canadian. [7]

Release

On January 11, 2018, the band announced their new album, along with the first single "Watch You, Watch Me". [7] On May 15, 2018, the music video for "Look No Further" was released. [8]

Production

The album was recorded at Breakglass Studio's in Montreal, Quebec, and mixed by Grammy Award-winning producer John Congleton. [9]

Tour

Suuns announced a worldwide tour from February 2018 to April 2018, starting at Saint-Casimir, Quebec and finishing in Istanbul, Turkey. [7]

Critical reception

Felt was met with "generally favorable" reviews from critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a weighted average rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream publications, this release received an average score of 70, based on 15 reviews. [1] Aggregator Album of the Year gave the release a 70 out of 100 based on a critical consensus of 11 reviews. [10]

Suuns is a Canadian rock band from Montreal. It was formed in mid-2007 when vocalist and guitarist Ben Shemie and guitarist and bassist Joe Yarmush got together to make some beats which quickly evolved into a few songs. The duo was soon joined by drummer Liam O'Neill and bassist and keyboardist Max Henry to complete the original line-up. The band signed to Secretly Canadian in 2010. Since 2018, Suuns saw the departure of Henry as an official member to pursue a scholastic path, and in 2020 they officially signed with Joyful Noise Recordings with their 2020 output of Fiction EP followed by their LP The Witness.
