The fencing competitions at the 2015 European Games in Baku were held from 23 to 27 June 2015 at the Crystal Hall 3. Twelve events (six individual, six team) were contested. [3] This is two more than the Olympic Games programme, [4] and means all three formats had a team event in each gender.

Qualification

216 athletes will compete across the twelve events. The quota places will be awarded based on the FIE rankings at 30 November 2014. In December 2014, a qualification tournament will be held to decide the universality quota places. [5]

The 1st European Games, also known as the 2015 European Games or Baku 2015, were the inaugural edition of the European Games, an international multi-sport event for athletes representing the National Olympic Committees (NOCs) of the European Olympic Committees. Eight events were contested, six from the Olympic program, 3 metre and 3 metre synchronised springboard, and platform for both men and women. In addition, two non-Olympic events, men's and women's 1m springboard, were held. The Olympic events of men's and women's 10 metre synchronised diving were not held.

The 2015 European Games was a multi-sport event held in Baku, Azerbaijan from 12 to 28 June 2015. The event was held for the first time and saw 5,898 athletes from 50 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) competing in 253 events in 20 sports. Since the Faroe Islands and Gibraltar are not members of the European Olympic Committee, the Faroese participants occurred for the Ligue Européenne de Natation and the Gibraltar participants for the Athletic Association of Small States of Europe. This medal table ranks the participating NOCs by the number of gold medals won by their athletes.

The women's individual recurve competition at the 2015 European Games was held from 16 to 19 June 2015 at the Tofiq Bahramov Stadium in Baku, Azerbaijan. One of five events comprising the inaugural European Games' archery programme, it featured a total of 62 archers from 30 different nations.

The Women's artistic gymnastics team all-around competition at the 2015 European Games was held at the National Gymnastics Arena, Baku on 14 and 15 June 2015. The team final also served as a qualification round for the all-around and event finals.
