The De La Salle Green Archers are the men's varsity teams representing De La Salle University in the Philippines. The women's varsity teams are generally referred to as the De La Salle Lady Archers. The school's varsity teams participate in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines, among others. La Salle is represented in the high school level by De La Salle Zobel, and are known as the Zobel Junior Archers.
Mike Salonga Cortez is a Filipino-American professional basketball coach and former player. He is an assistant coach for the Blackwater Bossing of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He played for eight franchises during his career in the PBA. Cortez gained prominence in the amateur ranks for the De La Salle Green Archers in the UAAP and the ICTSI Archers in the Philippine Basketball League. In 2003, he was the first overall pick of Alaska Aces in the 2003 PBA draft.

Tyrone Conrad Uy "TY" Tang is a Filipino former professional basketball player and a current head coach. He last played for Mighty Sports of the Pilipinas Commercial Basketball League (PCBL). Tang played for the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in the Philippine Basketball Association before retiring and then coming out of retirement to play in the PCBL. He was the twelfth overall pick in the 2008 PBA Draft by the Welcoat Dragons. He played point guard for the De La Salle Green Archers in college. He helped his team to a championship after top players like Renren Ritualo, Mike Cortez, Mark Cardona and Joseph Yeo graduated.
Virgil Vargas Villavicencio is assistant manager of TNT Katropa in the Philippine Basketball Association and former assistant coach of Talk 'N Text's championship-winning team in the 2003 All-Filipino Cup. Villavicencio is also a former head coach of the La Salle Green Archers in the UAAP and led the team to consecutive runner-up finishes in 1994 and 1995.
