Flashback is the fourth studio album by Swedish singer/songwriter Darin Zanyar. It was released on 3 December 2008 in Sweden and became Darin's fourth top 10 album.
In mid-2007, Darin went into the studio to start work on his 4th studio album with producers such as Murlyn Music, Johan Bobäck and RedOne. Daris said "I have been writing songs since I was 14 years old, I have taken part in writing and co-producing all of the songs except for one on this record. It is important to me that people understand that I write my songs myself, since many don't think this is the case."[ citation needed ]
Darin enlisted the help of American singer Kat DeLuna for the lead single "Breathing Your Love" which was produced by RedOne. The single was released in October 2008 and charted at number 2 on the Swedish singles chart.

Darin Zanyar, known simply as Darin, is a Kurdish-Swedish singer-songwriter born in Stockholm. He is one of Sweden's best-selling artists, with seven number one albums.
Threshold is the sixth studio album by the Swedish heavy metal band HammerFall. It was released in 2006 18 October in Sweden then on 20 October in Europe followed by France and the UK on 23 October and finally in the United States on 31 October. It entered the Swedish charts at number one, staying on the chart for eight weeks. This was the band's first No. 1 since Renegade in 2000. It is currently the last HammerFall studio album with the guitarist Stefan Elmgren and the bass guitarist Magnus Rosén. Samwise Didier created the cover artwork. As with several songs on the previous album the song "Dark Wings, Dark Words" is inspired by A Song of Ice and Fire.
Kathleen Emperatriz Amell DeLuna is an American singer, songwriter and dancer. DeLuna began pursuing a career as a singer when she was a teenager. After signing with Epic Records, she released her debut single "Whine Up" in 2007. The single went on to become a commercial success, entering the Top 40 in numerous countries and topping the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. Her debut studio album, 9 Lives (2007), failed to see the success of its lead single. The album's third single, "Run the Show", became a hit in various territories, and reached number two on the Hot Dance Club Play chart.
"Give Me Your Love" was the Swedish entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2003. The song was performed by Jessica Andersson and Magnus Bäcklund as 'Fame' and was composed by Carl Lösnitz and Calle Kindbom.
Break the News is the third studio album by Swedish singer Darin. It was released on 22 November 2006 in Sweden. The album reached the top of the Swedish Album Charts. Four singles were released from the album in Sweden with an additional track charting from promotion. This is the first Darin album to be released internationally, being released in Germany on 28 September 2007 with an altered track listing.
The fifth season of Swedish Idol premiered on 3 September 2008 and continued until its grand finale on 12 December, when 22-year-old Kevin Borg was crowned winner. It was the first season to feature new judges Laila Bagge, Anders Bagge and Andreas Carlsson, a move that made it the first Idol series in the world to completely replace its judging panel. The series took advantage of guest judges including Charlotte Perrelli, Desmond Child and Cyndi Lauper, and the final 3 results show featured a performance by Leona Lewis, who sang "Forgive Me". For the second year running, the grand finale was held in Stockholm's Globen Arena with a live audience of 16,000 people, where operatic group Il Divo also sang live. Season 5 of Swedish Idol marked only the second time in worldwide Idol history where neither of the final two contestants were born in the show's home country. Winner Kevin Borg was born in Malta and runner-up Alice Svensson was born in Vietnam. The only other Idol contest to have this occur was Greece's Super Idol in 2004.

Johan Bobäck also known as "Kermit" is a record producer and songwriter from Sweden. "Kermit" has written and produced songs for and together with Cyndi Lauper, Rachel Platten, Garou, Jay Graydon, Randy Goodrum, Chris Norman, Darin, Troy This, Dennis Morgan (songwriter), Jeanette Biedermann, Linda Sundblad, Play, Ola Svensson aka Brother Leo (musician), Elin Lanto among others.

David Moses Jassy, also known as Dawda, is a Gambian/Swedish musician, songwriter and music producer of mixed Gambian and Estonian origin. With Andrés Avellán, he was part of a Swedish R&B hip hop duo, Navigators in the late 1990s. After split up of the group, Jassy went on to writing music and producing a number of international acts such as Ashley Tisdale, Sean Kingston, Eve, No Angels, Mohombi, Darin, Charice, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Heidi Montag and many others. He is the founder of Jassy World Entertainment, a music production and publishing company. From 2010 to 2020 Jassy served a life sentence in prison for the murder of John Osnes in an unprovoked attack. On March 27, 2020, California Governor Gavin Newsom commuted Jassy's sentence to time served and he was released from prison on parole.

"Breathing Your Love" is a song by the Swedish singer Darin featuring vocals by American singer Kat DeLuna and the first single from Darin's fourth studio album, Flashback. The song is co-written by Darin with RedOne, Bilal Hajji and Novel was released to radio stations and as a digital download in Sweden on 8 October 2008. The single was released in Finland and is also the first single from Darin to be released in the United Kingdom, which it was in January 2010. In October 2009 Swedish astronaut Christer Fuglesang took 2 copies of the single into space with him, as his daughter is a Darin fan. A photo of the disc can be seen with earth in the distance on the official Darin website.
