"Lovekiller" is the fourth single from Darin's fifth studio album of the same name. The song was written and produced by Darin and Tony Nilsson.


The single was released on 13 July 2010 on CD and digital download. Darin's label Universal Group Sweden posted the song on its official website. Darin performed the song live before its release as part of Darin's 17-date Summer Tour 2010. Darin had performed the song live many times as part of the promotion of the single and his upcoming studio album.

"Lovekiller" debuted and peaked at number 6 on the Swedish singles chart. The song helped Darin's album to become certified Gold in its first week of release, with the album debuting at number two on 27 August 2010 on the Swedish album chart and peaking at number one the following week, making it Darin's fourth studio album to peak at that position.

Darin also recorded an acoustic version of "Lovekiller" as a bonus track for the album. [1]

This is Darin's first album since parting with former label Sony Music after 4 years and has become his fifth top ten album. After Hours is the fourth studio album by Canadian singer The Weeknd. The album was released by XO and Republic Records on March 20, 2020. It is The Weeknd's first studio album since 2016's Starboy, following the release of the 2018 EP My Dear Melancholy. The album is dedicated to a fan, who passed away shortly before the album's release. The standard edition has no featured artists, and the deluxe edition features remixed tracks, with guest appearances from Chromatics and Lil Uzi Vert, along with additional production from The Blaze, Johnny Jewel, and OPN.
