"Flashing Lights" is a single performed by British drum and bass duo Chase & Status, featuring production from fellow producer and label mate Sub Focus and vocals from Takura Tendayi. The single was released as a digital download on 18 November 2011 and serves as the seventh overall, fifth official and final single from Chase & Status' second studio album No More Idols .
Takura Tendayi had previously collaborated with both Chase & Status and Sub Focus, appearing on their respective debut albums More than Alot and Sub Focus . He provided vocals for "Can't Get Enough", "Streetlife", "Running" and "Is It Worth It" by Chase & Status, as well as "World of Hurt" and "Coming Closer" by Sub Focus. He is also the vocalist in "No Problem", the opening track of No More Idols. "Flashing Lights" was Takura's first official single.
A music video to accompany the release of "Flashing Lights", directed by Ben Newman, was first released onto YouTube on 18 November 2011, at a total length of four minutes and thirty-four seconds. [1]

Chase & Status are an English electronic music duo composed of Saul Milton (Chase) and Will Kennard (Status). In addition, Andy Gangadeen is the drummer when the band performs live. MC Rage formerly performed as MC with the group, but left in July 2021 to focus on solo ventures. The duo are from London, and formed in 2003 after meeting at university in Manchester. The duo have since released six studio albums and collaborated with major artists such as Plan B, CeeLo Green, Rihanna, Example, and Tinie Tempah. They run the independent record label MTA Records. William Kennard founded ELAM in 2014.
More than Alot is the debut studio album by English electronic music duo Chase & Status. The album was released on 13 October 2008, and peaked at number 49 on the UK Albums Chart. The album was re-released on 4 June 2010 with bonus tracks as the "New edition".
"Wait Your Turn" is a song recorded by Barbadian singer Rihanna for her fourth studio album, Rated R (2009). It was written by Mikkel S. Eriksen, Tor Erik Hermansen, Saul Milton, Will Kennard, James Fauntleroy II, Takura Tendayi, and Rihanna herself. Stargate and Chase & Status produced the song. Sub Focus is the debut album by British drum and bass producer Sub Focus. It was released on 12 October 2009 through RAM Records. The album primarily features drum and bass tracks, however there are tracks showcasing dubstep, electro, house, breakbeat and trance music elements. "Rock It / Follow the Light" managed to break into the top 40 of the UK Singles Chart. Two later singles, "Could This Be Real" and "Splash", both fell just below, peaking at number 41. The album charted at number 51 on the UK Albums Chart.

"Pieces" is a collaborative single, recorded by British musicians and production team Chase & Status featuring vocals from British rapper Plan B. The single was released on 29 September 2008 as the lead single from Chase & Status' debut studio album, More Than Alot. The track, co-written by Ben Drew, later went on to feature in Drew's first movie production, Ill Manors, with the music video also appearing on the DVD release. The music video for "Pieces" was directed by Drew, and features Chase & Status and Plan B in the recording studio, recording the track, while Plan B's ex-girlfriend destroys his flat and the trio witness it on CCTV.

No More Idols is the second studio album by English drum and bass production duo Chase & Status, released on 28 January 2011. No More Idols marks the first major full-length release by Chase & Status since their debut album More than Alot three years prior; a period in which the group signed a major management deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation and focused more on producing for other artists including Rihanna's 2009 album Rated R.

On 15 May 2012, the single was re-released as an EP through Owsla alongside remixes from Nick Thayer, xKore and Sub Focus himself. The VIP also features on the deluxe edition of Torus.
"Lost & Not Found" is a song by British record production duo Chase & Status, featuring vocals from British singer Louis M^ttrs. It was released on 26 June 2013 as the lead single from their third studio album Brand New Machine. The song was originally due to be released on 30 June, but was included on Clubland 23 which was released on 24 June and the release date was brought forwards. Due to this incident, the song title was changed to include the "not" from the second half of the chorus.
Takura Tendayi is a Zimbabwean singer and songwriter. He is well known for his frequent collaborations with Chase & Status and Sub Focus, as well as many other dubstep and drum and bass artists. His guest appearances have accumulated over 17 million views on YouTube, and his song "Flashing Lights" has charted in the United Kingdom at number 98 in the UK Singles Chart and number 15 in the UK Dance Chart. He managed to share a stage with Plan B and also co-wrote Rihanna's 2009 single "Wait Your Turn" which has over 28 million views on YouTube. This song was charted at number 45 in the UK Singles Chart. On 10 September 2013, Door Policy released the three-track EP No Cover Charge for free download. It features a guest appearance from "Traktor" singer L Marshall.
Torus is the second studio album by British DJ and record producer Sub Focus. The album was released on 30 September 2013, through RAM Records, Mercury Records and Virgin EMI Records.
Brand New Machine is the third studio album by English drum and bass production duo Chase & Status. It was released on 7 October 2013 by MTA Records under exclusive license to Mercury Records. The album features vocal contributions from a new wave of British talent, including Louis M^ttrs, Moko, Jacob Banks and Elli Ingram, as well as contributions from Major Lazer, Nile Rodgers and rapper Pusha T. The duo toured the album with an arena tour beginning on 31 October 2013. They also headlined 1Xtra Live at the Bournemouth International Centre on the same day as the release of the album.
