Sub Focus is the self-titled debut album by British drum and bass producer Sub Focus. It was released on 12 October 2009 through RAM Records. The album primarily features drum and bass tracks, however there are tracks showcasing dubstep, electro, house, breakbeat and trance music elements. "Rock It / Follow the Light" managed to break into the top 40 of the UK Singles Chart. Two later singles, "Could This Be Real" and "Splash", both fell just below, peaking at number 41. The album charted at number 51 on the UK Albums Chart.
Chris Power of the BBC said that Sub Focus "has the ability to create dancefloor-consuming monsters....but while it's possible to admire his sound's power there are times when it's not matched by songcraft....What remains to be seen is whether he can convert his jackdaw versatility – [2]

Andre Williams, better known as Shy FX, is a British DJ and producer from London. He specialises in drum and bass and jungle music.
Robert Swire-Thompson is an Australian musician, singer, songwriter, record producer and DJ, best known as the founder and vocalist of the Australian drum and bass and electronic rock band Pendulum, as well as DJ and co-founder of electro house duo Knife Party formed of Swire and Gareth McGrillen. Originally from Perth, Western Australia, he relocated to the United Kingdom in 2003 with fellow Pendulum co-founders Gareth McGrillen and Paul "El Hornet" Harding. Swire has since fulfilled a broad spectrum of roles as a member of Pendulum, ranging from songwriting to singing while performing live with an unusual guitar-like MIDI controller – Starr Labs' Ztar Z6S-XPA. Swire also plays guitar, bass, keyboards, percussion, and other instruments. He is sometimes referred to by the stage name Anscenic.
TC is the stage name of drum and bass producer, singer and Bristol DJ Tom Casswell. He left school and started making music inspired by the sounds of the Bristol scene and the music and atmosphere of St. Paul's, the area of Bristol where he grew up.
Nicolaas Douwma, better known by his stage name Sub Focus, is an English DJ, record producer, songwriter, musician and sound engineer from Guildford, Surrey. He has been releasing records since 2003. On 12 October 2009, he released his self-titled debut album. He released his second album, Torus, on 30 September 2013. Douwma's album in collaboration with Wilkinson titled Portals was released on 9 October 2020 through Casablanca Records.

"Take Me to the Hospital" is the twenty-first single released by the British electronic band the Prodigy. released on 31 August 2009, the CD single includes the Sub Focus remix and the 12" single also includes a Rusko remix. Liam also collaborated with Josh Homme to create the "Wreckage" mix of the song. It is the third commercial single from their fifth studio album Invaders Must Die, after "Omen" and "Warrior's Dance", as well and the free promotional single "Invaders Must Die". It was the band's last UK top 40 hit, reaching number 38.

"Splash" is the fourth single from drum and bass artist Sub Focus to be released from his self-titled debut album Sub Focus. The single features vocals from British singer Coco and managed to reach number 41 in the UK Singles Chart upon release. The song is featured in the soundtrack to the video game F1 2010.

On 12 August 2011, they released their debut studio album, Welcome Reality, which reached number one in the UK Albums Chart. "Could This Be Real" is the third single from drum and bass artist Sub Focus released from the self-titled debut album Sub Focus. The song features writing and uncredited vocals from Linden Reeves. It is an electro house and breakbeat song and one of the few non-drum and bass tracks from the album. The single managed to reach number 41 on the UK Singles Chart and number four on the UK Dance Chart.

Sigma are a British drum and bass DJ and record production duo consisting of Cameron James "Cam" Edwards and Joseph Aluin "Joe" Lenzie. They met at Leeds University at drum and bass nights. Their 2010 collaboration with DJ Fresh, "Lassitude", peaked at number 98 on the UK Singles Chart. Their single "Nobody to Love" topped the UK Singles Chart, becoming their first UK number one. Their second was the follow-up single "Changing", featuring Paloma Faith.
Jesse Kardon, better known by his alias Subtronics, is an American dubstep DJ and producer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. He is known for his song "Griztronics", a collaboration with Michigan-based electronic music artist GRiZ that peaked on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs at the No. 9 position in late 2019. Kardon peaked at No. 10 on Billboard's Next Big Sound chart in September 2019.
