"Splash" is the fourth single from drum and bass artist Sub Focus to be released from his self-titled debut album Sub Focus . The single features vocals from British singer Coco and managed to reach number 41 in the UK Singles Chart upon release. The song is featured in the soundtrack to the video game F1 2010 .

Music video

A music video accompanying the single was released on 24 April 2010. The video features an actor posing as Sub Focus and Coco performing the song in an unknown location in East London, where Coco takes out her anger on a drum kit. At various stages throughout the music video, Coco is seen singing in front of the Grand Union Flag. To accompany the music, the lights flicker on and off throughout the music video, while Coco appears distorted for effect.

Chart performance

"Splash" debuted on the UK Singles Chart at number 41 on 23 May 2010 as well as number seven on the UK Dance Chart. The following week, the single fell to number 73 and number eight, respectively. On 6 June 2010, "Splash" fell to number 91 before falling out of the top 100 the following week.

Nicolaas Douwma, better known by his stage name Sub Focus, is an English DJ, record producer, songwriter, musician and sound engineer from Guildford, Surrey. He has been releasing records since 2003. On 12 October 2009, he released his self-titled debut album. He released his second album, Torus, on 30 September 2013. Douwma's album in collaboration with Wilkinson titled Portals was released on 9 October 2020 through Casablanca Records.

The Prototypes is a British drum and bass duo consisting of Chris Garvey and Nick White. Founded in Brighton, England, in the late 2000s, by 2010 they had released their first singles on labels such as Formation Records and Viper Recordings, and from 2011 to 2013 were signed to Shogun Audio. They have released a number of EPs, and have received radio and live PA support from DJs such as Matrix & Futurebound. Signing exclusively to Viper Recordings in 2014, in the following months the duo released a number of promo singles for a debut album. Their resulting single, "Pale Blue Dot" ranked as Beatport's second top selling drum and bass track of the year. The track was also nominated for Best Track at the Drum & Bass Arena Awards, with The Prototypes also nominated for Best Producer, Best Music Video, and Best DJ.

Sub Focus is the self-titled debut album by British drum and bass producer Sub Focus. It was released on 12 October 2009 through RAM Records. The album primarily features drum and bass tracks, however there are tracks showcasing dubstep, electro, house, breakbeat and trance music elements. "Rock It / Follow the Light" managed to break into the top 40 of the UK Singles Chart. Two later singles, "Could This Be Real" and "Splash", both fell just below, peaking at number 41. The album charted at number 51 on the UK Albums Chart.

Kryptonite is the second studio album by British-based DJ and record producer DJ Fresh. The album primarily features drum and bass tracks, featuring drum and bass group Sigma and vocalists Stamina MC, Koko, Valkyrie and Ce'cile. The album has been pushed back various times, each time with a new track or an old track removed. Tracks removed from Kryptonite are "Spaceface", a drum and bass tune removed due to Fresh losing parts of the song itself, Fresh has confirmed that he doesn't know "what's going on" with "Lazer Squad", "Off World" was put onto a 12" with "Direct Order" by The Funktion, "Cylon" became the flip to "Lassitude", and "X-Project" (VIP mix) has been removed for an unknown reason. There was a mispress of the talkbox promo vinyl which had "Acid Rain" on the flipside rather than the intended song, "Fight". Due to the public reception to the preference over "Acid Rain" than to "Fight", it was made the official flipside rather than "Fight".

Turn Back Time (Sub Focus song) 2013 single by Sub Focus

"Turn Back Time" is a song by British DJ and record producer Sub Focus, featuring uncredited vocals from British singer Yolanda Quartey. It was released independently on 20 December 2013 as the sixth single from his second studio album Torus. However, the song charted prior to independent release and continued to rise, peaking at number 10 on the UK Singles Chart for the week of 25 January 2014. Along with "Endorphins", it is his joint highest-charting single to date.
