Follow the Sun is the fourth studio album by Evermore, which was released on 12 October 2012. [1] The album was partly recorded using a portable studio during a world trip. [2] Two singles, "Follow the Sun" and "Hero", have been released.
The band embarked on a short Australian tour in anticipation of the new album, as well as appearing as a support act for Maroon 5's Australian tour.

Evermore were a rock band formed in Feilding, New Zealand in 1999, made up of three brothers Jon, Peter and Dann Hume. The band was based in Sydney from 2004 to 2007 and then Melbourne until they became inactive in 2014. Evermore released four studio albums: Dreams (2004), Real Life (2006), Truth of the World: Welcome to the Show (2009), and Follow the Sun (2012), as well as a self-titled compilation album (2010). Real Life and Truth of the World were their highest charting studio albums in New Zealand and Australia, while Dreams and Real Life received platinum certifications from Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA).
Gorilla is the sixth studio album by American singer-songwriter James Taylor. Released in May 1975, it was more successful than Walking Man, his previous release. Two album tracks released as singles, "Mexico" and "How Sweet It Is ", rose to the top five on the Billboard charts. This would be Taylor's second-to-last album of new material for Warner Bros. Face the Promise is the sixteenth studio album by the American rock musician Bob Seger. The album was originally planned to be released in 2004, was delayed to 2005, and was officially released on September 12, 2006. It is his first new studio album since It's a Mystery in 1995 and is Seger's first studio album not to be credited to "Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band" since Beautiful Loser in 1975. It took Seger six years to finish Face The Promise. The first single, "Wait For Me", was premiered in July 2006.

Red Dirt Girl is the nineteenth studio album by American country artist Emmylou Harris, released on September 12, 2000 by Nonesuch Records. The album was a significant departure for Harris, as eleven of the twelve tracks were written or co-written by her. At the time, she was best known for covering other songwriters' work. Prior to this album, only two of Harris' LPs had more than two of her own compositions. Her next album, Stumble into Grace, was also written by Harris. The album contains "Bang the Drum Slowly", a song Guy Clark helped Harris write as an elegy for her father. The album peaked at number 3 on the Billboard country album charts and won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album in 2001.
Till the Sun Turns Black is singer-songwriter Ray LaMontagne's second full-length release, which was released on August 29, 2006. The album was produced by Ethan Johns and recorded at Allaire Studios in Shokan, New York. The album was a commercial success, becoming a top 40 album, selling 28,000 copies in its first week of release. The album was released in the UK on June 18, 2007, where it peaked at No. 35 on the UK Albums Chart.
Real Life is the second studio album by Evermore, released on 8 July 2006. It debuted on the ARIA Charts at number five and on the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand charts at number two. It reached double-platinum certification in Australia. Four singles were released: "Running", "Light Surrounding You", "Unbreakable" and "Never Let You Go".
My Own Way EP is the third extended play (EP) by Evermore, which was released on 15 September 2003. Evermore made two music videos for tracks on the five-track EP, "Hold Off" and "My Own Way". Although it did not reache the top 100 of the ARIA Singles chart, it reached No. 11 on the related ARIA Hitseekers Singles chart. It was recorded with the line-up of Jon Hume on guitars and vocals; Dann Hume on drums and vocals and Peter Hume on bass guitar, keyboards and vocals. The three brothers wrote all the tracks. They supported its release with their third tour of Australia within two years.
"Light Surrounding You" is the second single by alternative rock band, Evermore, taken from their second studio album, Real Life. It was written by Dann Hume, the group's drummer. The record is co-produced by Jon Hume. The song was released in October 2006 and peaked at No. 15 on the RIANZ Singles Chart in New Zealand and number one on the ARIA Singles Chart, making it Evermore's most successful single in Australia. It was the first single by a New Zealand artist to top the Australian charts since "How Bizarre" by OMC in 1996.
"Unbreakable" is the third single by Evermore, taken from their second studio album Real Life. The single was released as the Unbreakable Live EP.
No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems is the sixth studio album by American country music singer Kenny Chesney. It was released in April 2002 via BNA Records. It became Chesney's first album to reach number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 and produced five singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart between 2001 and 2003 with "Young", "The Good Stuff", "A Lot of Things Different", "Big Star", and the title track. A live performance music video was made for "Live Those Songs", which charted at number 60 without being released as a single; the song also became a concert tour opener for Chesney for several years. "On the Coast of Somewhere Beautiful" was also made into a music video, without being released as a single. Stylus were an Australian blue-eyed soul group formed in 1975. They were the only Australian act to be released by Motown Records in the USA. Stylus toured supporting George Benson, Average White Band, Ike & Tina Turner, and Little River Band. According to rock music historian, Ian McFarlane, Stylus "scored a number of hit singles and became very popular on the Australian pub and concert circuit". The group disbanded in 1979 and subsequently had various reunions. In 1998-99 Japan's Toshiba-EMI re-issued three Stylus albums on CDs. Their reunions have resulted in a live album, Still Alive (2003); and a new studio album, Across Time (2010).

Evermore is a self-titled greatest hits album by New Zealand rock band Evermore released on 14 October 2009 in the UK and 12 March 2010 in Australia and New Zealand. The album is a collection of songs from the band's entire history, as well as three new songs including the single "Underground". It was the band's first album to be released in Europe, following a recording contract with Warner Bros. The new songs were written while the band was a supporting act for Pink's Funhouse Tour in Europe. Band member Jon Hume described the album as "a crazy mishmash of all the music that [Evermore has] made over the last seven or eight years".
