Thirsty Merc are an Australian pop rock band formed in 2002 by Rai Thistlethwayte, Phil Stack, Karl Robertson (drums), and Matthew Baker (guitar). In 2004, Baker was replaced by Sean Carey, who was, in turn, replaced by Matt Smith in 2010. Thirsty Merc have released one extended play, First Work, and four studio albums: Thirsty Merc, Slideshows, Mousetrap Heart and Shifting Gears. The band have sold over 200,000 albums, toured extensively around Australia, and received national radio airplay for their tracks.
You Am I are an Australian alternative rock band, fronted by lead singer-songwriter-guitarist, Tim Rogers. They formed in December 1989 and are the first Australian band to have released three successive albums that have each debuted at the number-one position on the ARIA Albums Chart: Hi Fi Way, Hourly, Daily and #4 Record. Nine of their tracks appeared on the related ARIA Singles Chart top 50 with "What I Don't Know 'bout You", their highest charting, at No. 28. You Am I have received ten ARIA Music Awards from thirty one nominations. The band have supported international artists such as The Who, The Rolling Stones, Sonic Youth and Oasis.
Evermore are a band originally from Feilding, New Zealand, now based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The band consists of brothers Jon, Peter and Dann Hume. The band have released three platinum-selling albums, Dreams (2004), Real Life (2006) and Truth of the World: Welcome to the Show (2009) and a self-titled greatest hits album including three new songs. They have been nominated for seven ARIA Awards, and have won two Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards. They have won the APRA Silver Scroll songwriting award, and the Channel V Oz Artist of the Year Award.

End of Fashion are an Australian pop rock band from Perth, Western Australia. In January 2014, the band took a hiatus, with former lead singer and guitarist Justin Burford explaining in a Facebook post: "Triple J [national Australian radio station] ended the career path of End of Fashion, no question." The group gained mainstream attention with its 2005 single, "O Yeah", that was voted into eighth position of the "Hottest 100" poll, compiled by Australian youth radio station, Triple J. The group has released three studio albums. The band performed their first show since their long-term hiatus on 22 September 2018 at the Indian Ocean Hotel in Scarborough.
Odyssey Number Five is the fourth studio album by the Australian rock band Powderfinger, produced by Nick DiDia and released on 4 September 2000 by Universal Music. It won the 2001 ARIA Music Award for Highest Selling Album, Best Group and Best Rock Album. The album was the band's shortest yet, focusing on social, political, and emotional issues that had appeared in prior works, especially Internationalist.
"Scar" is a pop song written by Australian singer Missy Higgins and Kevin Griffin of American band Better Than Ezra. Released on 2 August 2004 on Eleven: A Music Company, it was released as the first single from Higgins' debut album, The Sound of White (2004). Bliss n Eso are an Australian hip hop trio based in Sydney, and were originally known as Bliss n' Esoterikizm for their debut EP The Arrival. Bliss n Eso are currently signed to Melbourne record label Illusive Sounds, and are managed and booked by label co-founders Adam Jankie and Matt Gudinski. Bliss n Eso have released six studio albums which include three number 1 debuts on the ARIA Charts. They have also won two ARIA Award for Best Urban Release for their 2008 album Flying Colours and for Best Music Video for their 2017 single "Moments". Eso, under the alias Esoterik, released an album entitled "My Astral Plane" in May 2018.
"Lost Without You" is a pop ballad written by Bridget Benenate and Matthew Gerrard, produced by Gerrard for Australian singer Delta Goodrem's first album, Innocent Eyes (2003). It was released as the album's second single on 3 March 2003 in Australia and in the middle of 2003 for the rest of the world. The song became Goodrem's second number-one single in Australia and also peaked within the top 10 in New Zealand, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. Goodrem re-mixed and recorded the song for the United States; it was released to American adult contemporary radio on 27 June 2005.
