The tenth season of the American reality television series Food Network Star premiered June 1, 2014 on Food Network. [1]
Season 10 continued the season 8 concept of having Bobby Flay, Giada De Laurentiis and Alton Brown mentor the contestants, as well as the Star Salvation web series from season 9. Star Salvation was hosted by season 9 winner Damaris Phillips and Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian. In addition to eliminated contestants from this season, Chad Rosenthal (season 9) and Martie Duncan (season 8) competed in Star Salvation.

Following the success of Season 9, Star Salvation returned for a second season. Hosted this time by Geoffrey Zakarian and season 9 champion Damaris Phillips, each episode features the most recently eliminated contestant competing against the remaining previously eliminated contestants for a second chance at winning. In addition, this season included Season 8 Fan Favorite Martie Duncan and Season 9 Fan Favorite Chad Rosenthal competing alongside the eliminated chefs.

Food Network Star is a reality television series that aired from June 5, 2005 to August 5, 2018. It was produced by CBS EYEtoo Productions for seasons 1–8 and by Triage Entertainment for seasons 9-14. It aired on the Food Network in the United States. Prior to season seven, the series was known as The Next Food Network Star.
Top Chef: Miami is the third season of the American reality television series Top Chef. It was first filmed in Miami, Florida, before concluding in Aspen, Colorado. The season was Emmy nominated for Outstanding Reality Competition Series, and garnered the Emmy Award for Best Editing in the category. Season 3 premiered on June 13, 2007 and ended on October 10, 2007. The winning recipe from each week's episode of Season 3 was featured on Bravo's Top Chef website and prepared by Lee Anne Wong in a web series called The Wong Way to Cook. In the season finale, Hung Huynh was declared the winner over runners-up Dale Levitski and Casey Thompson. Thompson was voted Fan Favorite.

Cutthroat Kitchen is an American cooking show hosted by Alton Brown that aired on the Food Network from August 11, 2013 to July 19, 2017. It features four chefs competing in a three-round elimination cooking competition. The contestants face auctions in which they can purchase opportunities to sabotage one another. Each chef is given $25,000 at the start of the show; the person left standing keeps whatever money they have not spent in the auctions. The show ended on its 15th season in July 2017. The series shares some basic elements with other four-chef, three-round elimination-style competitions on Food Network including Chopped and Guy's Grocery Games. Numerous Cutthroat Kitchen contestants have competed on these shows.
