The France women's youth national handball team is the national under–18 Handball team of the France. [1]
Controlled by the French Handball Federation it represents the country in international matches. It competes in the IHF U18 Handball World Championship (called the Women's Youth (U18) World Championship) and the European U-17 Handball Championship (also called the W17 EHF EURO).
The team has won the W17 EHF EURO twice (in 2007 and 2023) and won gold at the European Youth Olympic Festival twice (in 2019 and 2023).
The current head coach of the team is Olivier De Lafuente.
The team is referred as the "U18" and "U18F". [1]

The European Handball Federation (EHF) is the umbrella organisation for European handball. Founded on 17 November 1991, it is made of 50 member federations and two associated federations, and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria.
The Romanian women's national team represents Romania in senior women's international handball and is controlled by the Romanian Handball Federation, the governing body for handball in Romania. It competes in the three major international tournaments; the Olympic Games, the IHF World Championship and the EHF European Championship.
The Russia women's national handball team is the national team of the Russian Federation. It is governed by the Handball Federation of Russia and takes part in international handball competitions.

The European Women's Youth Handball Championship is the official competition for youth women handball national teams in Europe, managed by the European Handball Federation. It takes place every two years. Since the 2005 edition, the championship received its current name: EHF European Women's U-17 Handball Championship.
Anna Viktorovna Vyakhireva is a Russian female professional handballer, who plays for French club Brest Bretagne Handball and the Russian national team.
Sander Sagosen is a Norwegian professional handball player for Kolstad Håndball and the Norwegian national team. At club level, he has won major titles in four countries, including league championships in Norway, Denmark, France and Germany. With the national team, Sagosen placed second at the World Championship in 2017 and 2019, and finished third at the 2020 European Championship. Sagosen was included on the All-Star team for five consecutive major international competitions as either best centre back or left back.
