Franko Burraj (born 19 August 1998) is an Albanian sprinter specialising in the 400 metres. [1] He represented his country at one outdoor and one indoor European Championships. He currently holds the Albanian records in the 400 metres both indoors and out.

David Gillick is an Irish international track and field athlete. He began his education in Our Lady's Boys School and attended St Benildus College secondary school in Kilmacud. He studied at Dublin Institute of Technology before moving to Loughborough University in the United Kingdom to train as a full-time athlete with coach Nick Dakin. Gillick specialises in the 400 metres and he won the European Indoor Championship in 2005 and 2007, as well as the Irish National Outdoor Championship in 2006 and 2007. He set the Irish Indoor record of 45.52 seconds in the 2007 final. The time also beat the Irish outdoor record of 45.58 and was within the Olympic 'A' qualifying standard for the 2008 Games. On 4 July 2009 he ran 44.77 seconds in a race in Madrid to set a new national record. He is also the 2009 Irish national 200 m champion.
Adam Piotr Kszczot is a retired Polish middle-distance runner who specialised in the 800 metres. His achievements include silver medals at the 2015 and 2017 World Championships in Athletics, gold at the 2018 World Indoor Championships as well as silver and bronze at the 2014 and 2010 World Indoor Championships respectively. Kszczot won three gold medals in the 800 m at both the European Outdoor and Indoor Championships. He twice competed at the Olympic Games, in 2012 and 2016, narrowly missing the final on both occasions.
Pavel Maslák is a Czech sprinter who specialises in the 200 metres and 400 metres. He is the only athlete in history who has won the 400 m title at the World Indoor Championships at three consecutive championships. Maslák is the first Czech to have run 400 metres under 45 seconds outdoor and under 46 seconds indoor.
Slobodan Popović is a Serbian former middle distance runner who primarily competed in the 800 metres. He represented his country at the 1988 Summer Olympics and in the 1992 Summer Olympics.
Sibusiso Bruno Matsenjwa is a sprinter from Eswatini. He competed in the 200 metres at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics, but failed to reach the finals. He broke the national record on both occasions and served as the flag bearer for Eswatini during the opening ceremony in 2016. Matsenjwa holds national records over 100–400 m distances. He represented his country at three outdoor and three indoor world championships. Sibusiso also competed at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

Matija Šestak is a retired Slovenian sprinter who specialised in the 400 metres. He represented his country at the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics reaching the semifinals at the second occasion. He also reached the semifinals at the 1999 World Championships.
Catalin Cîmpeanu is a Romanian athlete specialising in the sprinting events, early in his career concentrating on the 400 metres, before later moving down to 100 metres. He represented his country at many continental level international competitions, his best result being the seventh place at the 2014 European Championships.
Mario Bonello is a retired Maltese athlete who specialised in the sprinting events. He represented his country at two Olympic Games, in 1996 and 2000, as well as two outdoor and one indoor World Championships. In addition, he won multiple medals at the Games of the Small States of Europe.
Kevin Widmer is a retired Swiss athlete who competed in sprinting events. He represented his country at the 1996 Summer Olympics, as well as three outdoor and two indoor World Championships. Widmer is of Vietnamese descent and currently works as an athletics coach.
Christoph Pöstinger is a retired Austrian sprinter who competed primarily in the 200 metres. He represented his country at the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympics, as well as one outdoor and two indoor World Championships.
Andreas Kramer is a Swedish middle-distance runner specialising in the 800 metres. He won the silver medal at the 2018 European Championships and the silver medal at the 2024 World Indoor Championships. With the performance of 1:49.62 he is the current European junior indoor record holder.
Arjen Visserman is a retired Dutch sprinter who specialised in the 400 metres. He represented his country at three World Indoor Championships.
Kalle Anders Berglund is a Swedish middle-distance runner. He won the silver medal in the 1500 metres at the 2017 European Indoor Championships.

Jochem Dobber is a Dutch track and field sprint athlete who specialises in the 400 metres. He was a gold medallist in the 4 × 400 metres relay with the Dutch team at the 2021 European Athletics Indoor Championships, setting a Dutch record.
Elián Gaspar Larregina is an Argentine sprinter specialising in the 400 metres. He won a bronze medal at the 2022 Ibero-American Championships setting a new national record of 45.78.
