Fred Kaiss is an American football coach who is currently the offensive coordinator for the DC Defenders of the United Football League (UFL). [1] He has previously served as offensive coordinator at Morgan State University, Alabama A&M University, Hampton University, Tennessee State University, Alabama State University, and Alcorn State University. [2]
Kaiss began coaching at Brooklyn High School and Andover High School, both in Maryland. In 1990, Kaiss was hired as the head coach of Southwestern High School in Baltimore. There he led a previously winless team to two straight winning seasons before leaving in 1992.
In 1992, he was hired as the offensive coordinator, quarterback coach, and receivers coach at Morgan State University. In 1993, Keiss moved on to Southern University, where he served as running backs coach, recruiting coordinator, and special teams coordinator. There he won the Black College National Championship and SWAC Championship in 1993 and 1995. From 1997 to 1999, he served as special teams coordinator/wide receivers coach at Tennessee State University. In 2000, he became the offensive coordinator/receivers coach at Alabama A&M University. In 2001, he became the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Hampton University. He spent five seasons as offensive coordinator there, winning back-to-back black national championships. [3]
In 2006, he returned to Tennessee, where he served as offensive coordinator. He also served as a regional recruiting coordinator.
In 2011, he was hired to be the offensive coordinator at Alabama State University. There he served under head coach Reggie Barlow. In 2015, the Hornets moved on from both Barlow and Kaiss.
From 2015 to 2017, he served as the offensive coordinator at Alcorn State University. [4]
In 2022, Kaiss was announced as the offensive coordinator of the DC Defenders of the XFL. There he was reunited with former head coach Reggie Barlow, who he worked with at Alabama State University. [5] In his first season, the Defenders finished with a league-best 9–1 record and appeared in the 2023 XFL Championship Game, losing 35–26 to the Arlington Renegades.
Robert Anthony Stoops is an American football coach who is the head coach for the Arlington Renegades of the United Football League (UFL). He was the head football coach at the University of Oklahoma from 1999 through the 2016 season, and on an interim basis during the 2021 Alamo Bowl. He led the Oklahoma Sooners to a record of 191–48 over his career. His 2000 Oklahoma Sooners football team won the 2001 Orange Bowl, which served as the BCS National Championship Game, and earned a consensus national championship. Since 2020, Stoops has been a head coach with the XFL, coaching the Renegades in 2020 and has been re-signed for 2023. Stoops' Renegades won the XFL Championship in 2023.
Norman Yew Heen Chow is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the head coach for the Helvetic Guards in the European League of Football (ELF). He was the head football coach at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, a position he held from December 2011 until November 2015 and previously held the offensive coordinator position for the Utah Utes, UCLA Bruins, the NFL's Tennessee Titans, USC Trojans, NC State Wolfpack, and BYU Cougars.
Tamaurice Nigel "Tee" Martin is an American football coach and former quarterback who is the quarterbacks coach for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as an assistant coach at the University of Tennessee, University of Southern California, University of Kentucky, University of New Mexico, North Atlanta HS, North Cobb HS and Morehouse College.
Robert Charles "Bob" Saunders is an American football coach. Saunders has served as an Offensive Assistant for the Kansas City Chiefs, Washington Redskins, St. Louis Rams, and Cleveland Browns. He served two seasons as wide receivers coach in the United Football League with the Virginia Destroyers. In college football, he was Offensive Coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Kansas Wesleyan University and at Oberlin College as well as the quarterbacks coach at Washington University in St. Louis. Saunders has been selected as receivers coach for the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl on three occasions. Saunders played collegiate football at Southern Methodist University. He is the son of longtime NFL offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Al Saunders, whom he worked with in Cleveland. He also served as the wide receivers coach for the DC Defenders of the defunct XFL. Saunders was no longer a part of the Memphis Showboats staff after the XFL and USFL Merger.
Reggie Devon Barlow is a former American football player and coach who is currently the head coach for the DC Defenders of the United Football League (UFL). Barlow served as the head football coach at Alabama State University from 2007 to 2014 and at Virginia State University from 2016 to 2021. He played professionally as wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons, five for the Jacksonville Jaguars, two for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and one with the Oakland Raiders. He was used as a secondary wide receiver and punt returner. In 1997, Barlow led the NFL in punt return yards with 555 yards on 43 returns.
Josh Gattis is an American football coach and former defensive back who is the offensive coordinator at the University of Maryland.
Dameyune Vashon Craig is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the wide receivers coach at Georgia State University. He was most recently the wide receivers coach at Texas A&M University. Craig played professionally as quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for four seasons with the Carolina Panthers.

He was previously the head coach and general manager of the DC Defenders of the XFL, and the quarterbacks coach for the Los Angeles Chargers, and was most recently the offensive coordinator for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL).
Rick Rhoades is an American football coach who has worked at the high school, college, and professional levels. He served as head football coach at the collegiate level at Troy State University from 1985 to 1987, Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 1988, Nicholls State University from 1993 to 1994 and Delta State University from 2002 to 2006.
Troy Scott Taylor is an American football coach and former player who is the head coach of the Stanford Cardinal. He played professionally as a quarterback for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). Taylor played college football for the California Golden Bears and was selected by the Jets in the fourth round of the 1990 NFL Draft.

Christopher Joseph Scelfo is an American football coach. He was most recently the offensive line coach for the DC Defenders of the XFL. He was the offensive line coach and run-game coordinator for the Arizona Hotshots of the Alliance of American Football, having previously served in a similar position with the Houston Cougars and Charlotte 49ers. He previously served as the tight ends coach for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL). He served as head coach at Tulane from 1998 to 2006, including in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and amassed a 37–57 record. He previously held assistant coaching positions at Marshall and Georgia.
Todd Robert Monken is an American football coach who is the offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He is also the former offensive coordinator for the University of Georgia, Cleveland Browns, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Oklahoma State University and Eastern Michigan University, as well as the former head coach at the University of Southern Mississippi.

The Arlington Renegades are a professional American football team based in Arlington, Texas. The Renegades compete in the United Football League (UFL). The team was founded as the Dallas Renegades by Vince McMahon's Alpha Entertainment and are owned-and-operated by Dwayne Johnson's Alpha Acquico and Fox Corporation. The Renegades play their home games at Choctaw Stadium. In 2023, The Renegades had a regular season record of 4-6 and were 2-0 in the playoffs, and were crowned XFL Champions. They were a part of the UFL merger in 2024, and started the 2024 season against the USFL Champion Birmingham Stallions.

The team was founded by Vince McMahon’s Alpha Entertainment and is owned and operated by Dwayne Johnson's Alpha Acquico and Fox Corporation. The Defenders play their home games at Audi Field. The Defenders have a regular season record of 12–3 (.800), the second-highest win percentage among UFL teams as of its 2024 season. They were also the top team in the 2023 XFL, boasting a 9–1 record and scoring 49 more points than the next closest team, the St. Louis Battlehawks.

Prior to Marshall, he was the associate head coach and running backs coach at the University of Alabama. A coach with stints at Mississippi State and Penn State, he has gained the reputation of being one of the top recruiters in college football.
Woodrow "Woody" McCorvey is a long-time American football coach and administrator who currently serves as the Chief of Football Administration at Clemson University. He has spent more than four decades in college football, including two stints at Clemson in various capacities and coaching roles at four Southeastern Conference programs during his career. McCorvey coached at the Division I level for 26 years, earning bowl berths in 17 of those seasons, and coached or signed 36 players who went on to professional football careers as well. He worked for three coaches in the College Football Hall of Fame, including holding significant roles under Danny Ford, Gene Stallings and Phil Fulmer, and worked for four national championship coaches in Ford, Fulmer, Stallings and Dabo Swinney.
