Freya Skye Jones is an English singer-songwriter and actress. She represented the United Kingdom in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022, after which she was signed to Hollywood Records and to Disney Music Publishing as a songwriter. Skye has also garnered a talent holding deal for future projects with Disney Branded Television. [1] As an actress, she has appeared in The Next Step and made her film debut starring as Nova Bright in Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires.

Life and career

Skye was born 17th October 2009 to Mike and Sarah Jones. She is an only child. She started singing and acting at the age of five. [1]

She released her debut single "I Love the Way" in 2021. [2] On 3 November 2022, it was announced that she would be representing the United Kingdom at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Yerevan, Armenia, to perform her song "Lose My Head". [2] [3] She won the top spot in the online global public vote, [1] and finished fifth overall. [4] She was 13 years old at the time. [2] She was featured in two BBC documentaries about her experience with Eurovision and her career, [1] and was a part of the lineup at the London Eurovision Party 2023. Freya has worked as a voice actor on video games including Final Fantasy XVI (2023). [7] She appeared in season 9 of the Canadian series The Next Step on YTV, playing an exaggerated version of herself. [8] On 10 February 2024, it was announced that she would star in Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires , in the role of Nova. [7] [9] On 19 July 2024, she released the single "Walk Over" under Hollywood Records. [10] It was followed by the single "Someone to Love", [11] "Can't Fake It", and "Who I Thought I Knew" in 2025, which has amassed over 1 million views on Youtube since its release, and afterwards "Gold's Gone". In the summer of 2025, Skye took part in the Descendants/Zombies: Worlds Collide Tour, an interactive live concert experience featuring stars from Disney’s Descendants and Zombies franchises. [13] The tour included 43 dates across multiple U.S. arenas from July to September 2025, where Skye performed songs from both franchises alongside her own single "Gold’s Gone."
