Fullerton is an unincorporated community in DeWitt County, Illinois, United States. Fullerton is located at the junction of Illinois Routes 48 and 54, 3 miles (4.8 km) northeast of DeWitt.
DeWitt County is a county located in the U.S. state of Illinois. As of the 2010 census, the population was 16,561. Its county seat is Clinton. The county was formed on March 1, 1839 from Macon and McLean counties. The county was named in honor of the seventh Governor of New York State, DeWitt Clinton.

Illinois Route 48 (IL 48) is a 85.38-mile-long (137.41 km) north–south state highway with its southern terminus at I-55 and IL 127 in Raymond and its northern terminus at IL 54 east of Clinton.
