Furthest Drive Home were a four-piece pop and rock band from Farnham, England, which formed in 2003. The band released their EPLost in Genre in the summer of 2005, before playing the side stage at Brighton's "Taste of Chaos" festival, alongside The Used, Killswitch Engage and Funeral For A Friend. In the same year Furthest Drive Home were featured on a special Drive-Thru Records, Pure Volumecompilation album alongside Midtown and Gym Class Heroes with the song "Future Full of Jive", which was erroneously track listed as "Control Yourself".
In January 2007, the band signed to Hungry Kid Records and recorded their debut mini album, The Complete First Series at Ignition Studios in North London, with the mastering being completed at the Abbey Road Studios.
In June 2007, The Complete First Series was released alongside lead single, "Directors Cut", to critical acclaim from Kerrang!, Rock Sound, and Big Cheese magazines along with support from BBC Radio, XFM and Kerrang! Radio. In August the video for the band's second single, "Forget His Facade", reached the number 2 spot on both the MTV2 Rock Chart and the Red Button Chart, whilst the band played at the Kerrang! awards show with Funeral for a Friend. In September they featured on the bill along with Elliot Minor at Butserfest. December 2007 saw the release of a third and final single from the mini album, "Diamond Watch". The B-side to "Diamond Watch" was a Frank Musik remix of the first single, "Directors Cut".
The band were one of the originators of the Home Counties pop music scene, which along with Furthest Drive Home produced such acts as You Me At Six, Young Guns and Futures. In March 2008, Furthest Drive Home played the 2008 SXSW Music Conference in Austin, Texas. The show they played was put on by Kerrang!
On 18 March 2009, the band announced they had split up. They completed five final dates in April 2009, finishing with a sold-out show for family and friends at the West End Centre in Aldershot.

Generally considered a post-hardcore band as a whole, Fightstar are known to incorporate metal, alternative rock and other genres into their sound. During the band's early days, they were viewed sceptically by critics because of Simpson's former pop career with Busted. Their live shows got a more positive reaction, and their 2005 debut EP, They Liked You Better When You Were Dead, was a critical success.
Swirlies is an American indie rock band formed in Boston in 1990. Since their first records in the early 1990s, the band has released studio and home recordings that blend shoegaze and twee pop with electronica and lo-fi music.
Creeper are an English rock band from Southampton. Formed in 2014, the group originally featured vocalist Will Gould, guitarists Ian Miles and Sina Nemati, bassist Sean Scott, and drummer Dan Bratton. The band independently released their self-titled debut EP in 2014, before signing with Roadrunner Records and issuing follow-up The Callous Heart the next year. At the end of 2015, Nemati was replaced by Oliver Burdett and touring keyboardist/second vocalist Hannah Greenwood became an official band member. A third EP, The Stranger, was released in 2016 and reached the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart top ten.
Sonic Boom Six are an English five-piece band from Manchester, United Kingdom. The band currently consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Alex Davies, vocalist and guitarist Ed Minton, drummer Dan Hetherton, bassist Ed Hetherton and keyboardist Ali Paul. The band had a string of Top 40 singles in the UK chart, including "Jessica", "The White One Is Evil", "Still Figuring Out" alongside their biggest hit "Parallel Worlds". In 2010, the band entered an indefinite hiatus which lasted until 2014 when they played some reunion shows and released a new single before returning to their hiatus.

The Blackout are a post-hardcore band from Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, formed in 2003. They released their EP The Blackout! The Blackout! The Blackout! In October 2007 the band released their debut album, We Are the Dynamite. Their second record, The Best in Town, was released on 25 May 2009 in Europe and 23 June 2009 in the US, both via Epitaph Records. The band's third album - titled Hope, was released on 4 April 2011, and charted at number 27 in the UK album chart. Their fourth studio album, titled Start the Party, was released on 21 January 2013. The Blackout's final release was a five track EP entitled Wolves, with their farewell tour held in early 2015, finishing in their hometown of Merthyr Tydfil on Saturday 28 March 2015.

Blood Youth were an English hardcore punk band formed in Harrogate in 2014. They have released three studio albums, two EPs and a short-form documentary produced by Kerrang!. The current line-up consists of guitarist Chris Pritchard, bassist Matt Hollinson, drummer Brad Ratcliffe and lead vocalist Harry Rule.
