GLA is the fourth studio album by Scottish alternative rock band Twin Atlantic. [1] It was released on 9 September 2016. The album was produced by Jacknife Lee.

On 2 September 2016 Annie Mac premiered lead single "No Sleep" as the Hottest Record in the World on BBC Radio 1. [2] On 16 September 2016, GLA became the band's second top 10 charting album in the UK debuting at #9 on the UK album charts, [3] #1 on the Rock Album Charts and #3 on the Scottish album charts

Biffy Clyro are a Scottish rock band that formed in Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, composed of Simon Neil, James Johnston, and Ben Johnston. Currently signed to 14th Floor Records, they have released nine studio albums, five of which reached the top five in the UK Albums Chart, with their sixth studio album, Opposites claiming their first UK No. 1 album. The latest three consecutive studio albums have all peaked at number one in the UK official albums chart. Enter Shikari British rock band

Enter Shikari are a British rock band formed in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England in 1999 by bassist Chris Batten, lead vocalist and keyboardist Rou Reynolds, and drummer Rob Rolfe. In 2003, guitarist Rory Clewlow joined the band to complete its current lineup, and it adopted its current name. In 2006, they performed to a growing fanbase at Download Festival as well as a sold-out concert at the London Astoria. Their debut studio album, Take to the Skies, was released in 2007 and reached number 4 in the Official UK Album Chart, and has since been certified gold in the UK. Their second, Common Dreads, was released in 2009 and debuted on the UK Albums Chart at number 16; while their third, A Flash Flood of Colour, was released in 2012 and debuted on the chart at number 4. You Me at Six English rock band

You Me at Six are an English rock band from Weybridge, Surrey. Formed in 2004, the group achieved success in 2008 with the release of their debut album, Take Off Your Colours, which included the singles "Save It for the Bedroom", "Finders Keepers" and "Kiss and Tell", with the latter two peaking at number 33 and number 42 respectively in the UK Singles Chart. Their second album Hold Me Down (2010) debuted at number 5 in the UK, while third album Sinners Never Sleep (2011) peaked at number 3, was certified Gold, and spawned the band's fifth top 50 single "Loverboy".

Twin Atlantic Scottish band

Twin Atlantic are a Scottish alternative rock band from Glasgow, Scotland. The group currently consists of Sam McTrusty and Ross McNae (bass). Lead guitarist Barry McKenna departed from the band in 2019, but continues to perform with the band at their live shows. Craig Kneale (drums) "decided to step back" from the band in September 2021, just a day after the release of their song "One Man Party" from their most recent album Transparency. They have released six albums: Vivarium, Free, Great Divide, GLA, Power, and Transparency. Their highest charting single is "Heart and Soul" from Great Divide, which peaked at number 17 on the UK Singles Chart. On 2 June 2016, Annie Mac premiered "No Sleep" as the Hottest Record in the World on BBC Radio 1 and announced their album GLA, subsequently released on 9 September 2016.

Skerryvore is a Scottish Celtic Rock group formed in Tiree, Argyll and Bute in 2004. The band started off with Tiree brothers Daniel Gillespie and Martin Gillespie, alongside regular Tiree visitor Fraser West and his friend Alec Dalglish, both from Livingston, West Lothian. The group took their name from the Skerryvore lighthouse that lies 12 miles (19 km) off the coast of Tiree. The group's present line-up includes Craig Espie, Alan Scobie, Jodie Bremaneson and, since April 2017, Scott Wood. Skerryvore have released six studio albums, with the addition of a ‘deluxe’ version of one including some live tracks, a compilation album, and a live album.
