Gabriel Johan Gudmundsson (born 29 April 1999) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Ligue 1 club Lille and the Sweden national team.
On 31 August 2021, Gudmundsson signed a five-year contract with French champions Lille. [2]
After having represented the Sweden U17, U19, and U21 teams a total of 11 times between 2014 and 2019, Gudmundsson made his full international debut for Sweden on 9 June 2022 in a 2022–23 UEFA Nations League B game against Serbia, replacing Viktor Claesson in the 77th minute of a 0–1 loss. [3] [4]
Gabriel is the son of former Sweden and Blackburn Rovers player Niklas Gudmundsson. [5]

Nils Gunnar Nordahl was a Swedish professional footballer. A highly prolific, powerful, and physically strong striker, with an eye for goal, he is best known for his spell at AC Milan from 1949 to 1956, in which he won the scudetto twice, and also the title of pluricapocannoniere, with an unprecedented five top scorer (capocannonieri) awards, more than any other player in the history of the Italian championship.
Johan Gunnar Gren was a Swedish professional football player and coach. He is best remembered for playing for IFK Göteborg and AC Milan.
Ralf Sigvard Edström is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a forward. Widely regarded as Sweden's best player in the 1970s, he started off his career with Degerfors IF in the late 1960s and went on to represent Åtvidabergs FF, PSV Eindhoven, IFK Göteborg, Standard Liege, and AS Monaco before retiring at Örgryte IS in 1985. A full international between 1972 and 1980, he won 40 caps for the Sweden national team and scored 15 goals. Johnny Douglas Ekström is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a forward and a winger. He played professionally in Italy, Germany, France, and Spain but is best remembered for his time in Sweden with IFK Göteborg with which he was the 1986 Allsvenskan top scorer and won three Swedish Championships. A full international between 1986 and 1995, he won 47 caps for the Sweden national team and represented his country at the 1990 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 1992.
Glenn Peter Strömberg is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Starting his career in 1979 with IFK Göteborg, he helped the club win the 1981–82 UEFA Cup before signing with Benfica in 1983. In 1984, he joined the Serie A club Atalanta for which he served as the team captain for four seasons until his retirement in 1992. A full international between 1982 and 1990, he won 52 caps and scored 7 goals for the Sweden national team, and represented his country at the 1990 FIFA World Cup. He was awarded Guldbollen in 1985 as Sweden's best footballer of the year.

Beginning his career with Örgryte IS in 1953, he went on to represent Real Madrid and Real Sociedad in La Liga in the early 1960s before returning to Örgryte in 1963.
