Gabriel Jean-Edouard Koyambounou (born 1947) is a Central African politician who was prime minister of the Central African Republic from 12 April 1995 to 6 June 1996. He is currently the first vice-president of the Movement for the Liberation of the Central African People (MLPC).
Koyambounou was acquitted of misuse of public funds on 6 December 2004. [1] After MLPC first vice-president Luc Dondon Apollinaire Konamabaye was suspended from his duties,Koyambounou,who was second vice-president,took over as first vice-president in an interim capacity in January 2006. [2]
The Central African Republic (CAR),formerly known as Ubangi-Shari,is a landlocked country in Central Africa. The Central African Armed Forces are the armed forces of the Central African Republic and have been barely functional since the outbreak of the civil war in 2012. Today they are among the world's weakest armed forces,dependent on international support to provide security in the country. In recent years the government has struggled to form a unified national army. It consists of the Ground Force,the gendarmerie,and the National Police.

Abel NguéndéGoumba was a Central African politician. During the late 1950s,he headed the government in the period prior to independence from France,and following independence he was an unsuccessful candidate for President of the Central African Republic four times. Goumba,who was President of the Patriotic Front for Progress (FPP) political party,served under President François Bozizéas Prime Minister from March 2003 to December 2003 and then as Vice President of the Central African Republic from December 2003 to March 2005. Subsequently,he was appointed to the official post of Ombudsman.
Martin Ziguélé is a Central African politician who was Prime Minister of the Central African Republic from 2001 to 2003. He placed second in the 2005 presidential election and is currently the President of the Movement for the Liberation of the Central African People (MLPC).
General elections were held in the Central African Republic on March 13,2005 to elect the President and National Assembly. A second round was held for both elections on May 8,marking the end of the transitional process that began with the seizure of power by François Bozizéin a March 2003 coup,overthrowing President Ange-Félix Patassé. A new constitution was approved in a referendum in December 2004 and took effect the same month.

Massi served as a minister in the government of the Central African Republic during the 1990s and again from 2005 to 2008;he was also the President of the Democratic Forum for Modernity (FODEM) party from 1997 to 2008. Hamid Algabid is a Nigerien politician and the President of the Rally for Democracy and Progress (RDP-Jama'a) party. A lawyer,banker,and technocrat,Algabid was an important figure in the regime of Seyni Kountché,serving as Prime Minister of Niger from 1983 to 1988. He was Secretary-General of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) from 1989 to 1996,and since 1997 he has been President of the RDP-Jama'a. He was also President of the High Council of Territorial Collectivities (HCCT) until 2010.
Amadou Cheiffou is a Nigerien politician who was Prime Minister of Niger from 26 October 1991 to 17 April 1993,heading a transitional government. He has led the Social Democratic Rally (RSD-Gaskiya),a political party,since founding it in January 2004. Cheiffou was President of the Economic,Social and Cultural Council of Niger (CESOC) from January 2006 to February 2010,and he held the official post of Ombudsman from August 2011 to December 2015.
John Landa Nkomo was a Zimbabwean politician who served as Vice-President of Zimbabwe from 2009 to 2013.
