Adélie Land is a claimed territory on the continent of Antarctica. It stretches from a coastline area along the Great Southern Ocean inland all the way to the South Pole. France administrates it as one of five districts of the French Southern and Antarctic Lands since 1955 and apply the Antarctic Treaty System rules since 1961. Article 4 deals with territorial claims, and although it does not renounce or diminish any preexisting claims to sovereignty, it also does not prejudice the position of Contracting Parties in their recognition or non-recognition of territorial sovereignty. France has had a permanent station in Adélie Land since April 9, 1950. The current Dumont d'Urville Station has a winter population around 33, but this goes up to about 78 during the Antarctic summer.

The Cessna AT-17 Bobcat was a twin-engined advanced trainer aircraft designed and made in the United States, and used during World War II to bridge the gap between single-engined trainers and twin-engined combat aircraft. The AT-17 was powered by two Jacobs R-755-9 radial engines. The commercial version was the Model T-50, from which the AT-17 was developed.
The Woody Hayes Athletic Center is an indoor athletics training facility of The Ohio State University. It was dedicated in November 1987 in memory of Woody Hayes, Ohio State's football coach, and renovated in a significant expansion in 2005–2007. The facility contains an indoor field which is 400 feet (120 m) long, 220 feet (67 m) wide and 65 feet (20 m) high and is covered by All-Pro Turf. The field is used by the football, baseball, softball, lacrosse and soccer teams.

Pârjol is a commune in Bacău County, Romania. It is composed of nine villages: Băhnășeni, Bărnești, Băsăști, Câmpeni, Hăineala, Hemieni, Pârjol, Pustiana and Tărâța. At the 2011 census, the commune's 5404 inhabitants were 94.2% Romanian and 3.53% Hungarian. At the 2002 census, they were 64.2% Romanian Orthodox, 35% Roman Catholic, and 0.8% Old Calendar Orthodox.

Allemand Peak is a peak lying 1.5 miles (2.4 km) south of Moody Peak in the north part of the Boomerang Range of Antarctica. It was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names in 1964 for Lawrence J. Allemand, construction driver at Little America V in 1958.
Baronick Glacier is a glacier 6 nautical miles (11 km) southwest of Mount Cocks, in the Royal Society Range, draining into the Skelton Glacier to the west. It was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names in 1963 for Chief Aviation Ordnanceman Michael P. Baronick, of U.S. Navy Squadron VX-6, who wintered at Williams Air Operating Facility at McMurdo Sound in 1956 and was in Antarctica for several summer seasons. Baronick, with a party of three, was in command of the Beardmore Air Operating Facility established on October 28, 1956, at 84°56′S166°0′W.
