The Gandaki Province Cricket Association(formerly Province No. 4) is the governing body for cricket in Gandaki Province, a domestic team representing the state of Gandaki, Nepal. Its headquarter is situated at Pokhara.

Cricket in Nepal has gained popularity over the years and has become the country's one of the most popular and widely followed sport. It rapidly grew popularity in the mid 2010s, following the slight successes of the Nepalese cricket team as well as the country's explosive rise in social media and television viewing influence from neighboring country India. It is played by many people throughout the country, especially in the Terai region. The biggest cricketing achievement of the national cricket team was when the team reached the qualification tournament of 2014 ICC World T20 held in Bangladesh. The Prime Minister Cup Men's National Cricket Tournament is a domestic cricket tournament in Nepal organised by the Cricket Association of Nepal. It was formerly administered by the National Sports Council while CAN was suspended. It was played amongst 8 teams in 2017 and has been played amongst 10 teams from 2018 onward.

The 2023–24 Prime Minister Cup (Women) was the ninth edition of the Prime Minister Cup Women's National Cricket Tournament, the premier Twenty20 cricket tournament in Nepal. The tournament was contested by teams representing the seven Provinces of Nepal as well as one departmental teams. It began on 21 December 2023 and end on 3 January 2024. The format was changed for the 2023–24 season, with the eight teams competing in a round-robin format with the top four advancing to the play-offs.
