He played one Test match in 2002,as a spin bowler in Chennai against India. Breese scored five runs in two innings, and took two wickets, but conceded 135 runs in 31 overs.
Breese featured for over 100 first class games for Jamaica and Durham. He played for Durham from 2004 until 2014, [2] qualifying as a non-overseas player due to owning a British passport. With 31 wickets,he was the third highest wicket-taker for Durham in 2005,as the team was promoted from Division Two in the County Championship. As a batsman he hit several half-centuries,at number seven and eight in the batting order, which helped Durham to several victories, such as an unbeaten 79 at Taunton as Durham chased 243 to win after Breese had come in at 98 for 4. [1]
With Durham Breese went on to win the 2007 Friends Provident Trophy by a margin of 125 runs over Hampshire in the final at Lord's. He also scored the winning runs for Durham in the 2014 Royal London One-Day Cup final against Warwickshire at Lord's in what was his final appearance with the club. [3] [1] [2]
Breese is the son of Jean "Binta" Breeze, former Jamaican dub poet and storyteller who was acknowledged as the first woman to write and perform dub poetry.
Brian Charles Lara,is a Trinidadian former international cricketer, widely acknowledged as one of the greatest batsmen of all time. He holds several cricketing records, including the record for the highest individual score in first-class cricket, with 501 not out for Warwickshire against Durham at Edgbaston in 1994,and the record for the highest individual score in an international Test innings, after scoring 400 not out at Antigua during the 4th test against England in 2004.

It is controlled by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB),the governing body for cricket in Pakistan, which is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Pakistan compete in cricket tours and tournaments sanctioned by the PCB and other regional or international cricket bodies in Test,One Day International (ODI),and Twenty20 International (T20) formats. Durham County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Durham. Founded in 1882,Durham held minor status for over a century and was a prominent member of the Minor Counties Championship, winning the competition seven times. In 1992,the club joined the County Championship and the team was elevated to senior status as an official first-class team. Durham has been classified as an occasional List A team from 1964,then as a full List A team from 1992;and as a senior Twenty20 team since the format's introduction in 2003.
Paul David Collingwood is an English cricket coach and former player, who played in all three formats of the game internationally for England. He played for Durham County Cricket Club. Somerset County Cricket Club played in Division Two of both the County Championship and the Sunday League in 2005. Somerset started at 10–1 to finish Division Two County Champions. Batting seems strong with Smith,Jayasuriya,Blackwell and Trescothick. But the same cannot be said of the bowling, which will find it difficult to dismiss teams twice on the flat Taunton pitch.
Durham County Cricket Club started the 2005 season with odds of 20-1 to win the Second Division of the County Championship, and in one-day cricket they started the season in Division Two of the National League. However, they were promoted in both competitions - in the County Championship, they finished second after an initial run of four wins and eight matches without defeat. They only lost two of 16 Championship matches, securing promotion a week before the end of the tournament. In the National League, they were promoted with two weeks to spare, and won their last five matches - yet finished two points behind Sussex Sharks, who had a similar run. The cup competitions gave them lower final placings, however - in the C&G Trophy, they were knocked out in the first round by Derbyshire, and without internationals Mike Hussey and Paul Collingwood, who played in the NatWest Series, they lost five of eight matches in the group stages in the Twenty20 Cup to finish fifth in the North Division.
Leicestershire County Cricket Club in 2005 are playing their cricket in Division Two of the County Championship and of the totesport League. They started the season as 25-1 outsiders to take the Division Two Championship title. These odds looked reasonable as they plummeted to an innings defeat in their first match, picking up only one point against Durham. They then lost their first totesport match, also against Durham,by 9 runs on the Duckworth-Lewis method.
Yorkshire County Cricket Club in 2005 were in the second division of both the County Championship and the totesport League. At 6–1 odds to win the Second Division of the County Championship, they were likely to struggle again –as they had done since they won the First Division championship in 2001.
Derbyshire County Cricket Club in 2005 was the cricket season when the English club Derbyshire had been playing for one hundred and thirty-five years. They reached the semi-final in the Cheltenham and Gloucester Trophy. They were eliminated at group level in the North section of the Twenty20 Cup.

Twenty20 cricket is played over 20 overs according to normal limited-over rules, the one exception being the rule for "timed out",where the time by which an incoming batsman must be at the crease ready to receive his first ball is reduced to 90 seconds after the outgoing batsman has been dismissed. This amendment to the rules helps speed up the game. Additionally, boundary ropes tend to be shorter in Twenty20 cricket than for normal limited over games.
The 2006 English cricket season was the 107th in which the County Championship had been an official competition. It included home international series for England against Sri Lanka and Pakistan. England came off a winter with more Test losses than wins, for the first time since 2002-03,but still attained their best series result in India since 1985.
