Gary E. Dickerson

Gary E. Dickerson (born 1956) is a business leader in the semiconductor industry. [1]

His first positions in the industry was with General Motors' Delco Electronics Division and AT&T Technologies, working in manufacturing and engineering management. He then worked at KLA-Tencor Corporation for 18 years in a variety of roles in operations and product development until he was made president and CEO. [2] He then became CEO of Varian Semiconductor Equipment Associates and held that position for seven years. In 2011 he negotiated Applied Materials' $4.9bn cash acquisition of Varian Semiconductor Equipment Associates Inc. [3] Afterwards, he became CEO and president of Applied Materials, Inc.

His total compensation for 2013 was: $10,319,469. [4]

In the fall of 2013, Dickerson received the Semiconductor Industry Association’s Robert N. Noyce Award for his “outstanding achievements and leadership in support of the semiconductor industry.” [5]

Lam Research American semiconductor equipment company

Lam Research Corporation is an American supplier of wafer fabrication equipment and related services to the semiconductor industry. Its products are used primarily in front-end wafer processing, which involves the steps that create the active components of semiconductor devices and their wiring (interconnects). The company also builds equipment for back-end wafer-level packaging (WLP), and for related manufacturing markets such as for microelectromechanical systems (MEMS).

Gary Lewis Crittenden is an American financial manager. He is currently an executive director of HGGC, where he also previously served as CEO and chairman. He is also the former chairman of Citi Holdings. He has served as chairman of the boards of Citadel, Power Holdings, and iQor; as lead independent director of Pluralsight; and has served on the boards of Extra Space Storage, Staples Inc., Ryerson, Inc., TJX Companies, and Utah Capital Investment Corp. Varian Associates was one of the first high-tech companies in Silicon Valley. It was founded in 1948 by Russell H. and Sigurd F. Varian, William Webster Hansen, and Edward Ginzton to sell the klystron, the first vacuum tube which could amplify electromagnetic waves at microwave frequencies, and other electromagnetic equipment. Varian Semiconductor was founded in 1971 as Extrion Corporation in Peabody, Massachusetts. Extrion later moved to nearby Gloucester, Massachusetts and was bought by Varian Associates in 1975. It was spun off from Varian Associates in 1999.

Lisa Su American electrical engineer and CEO of AMD (born 1969)

Lisa Su is a Taiwanese-American business executive and electrical engineer, who is the president and chief executive officer of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). Early in her career, Su worked at Texas Instruments, IBM, and Freescale Semiconductor in engineering and management positions. She is known for her work developing silicon-on-insulator semiconductor manufacturing technologies and more efficient semiconductor chips during her time as vice president of IBM's Semiconductor Research and Development Center.

Gary J. Goldberg is the President, CEO and Director of Newmont Mining Corporation, positions he has held since March 1, 2013. He joined the Newmont Board of Directors at the same time.

James R. Verrier was the chief executive officer at automotive industry component supplier BorgWarner from 2013-2018. In 2017 the company estimated his pay package to be worth about $10 million.

Brad Mattson American engineer and entrepreneur

Brad Mattson is an American engineer and entrepreneur. He started two publicly traded semiconductor companies, Novellus Systems and Mattson Technology, and has also worked in the solar power industry. He currently serves as Chairman of Husk Power and is a board director at Siva Power, a thin film solar cell company based in Silicon Valley, and is involved with several other private companies and non-profits. Mattson holds 12 patents.

Sanjay Mehrotra Indian American business executive and CEO of Micron

Sanjay Mehrotra is an Indian American business executive and the CEO of Micron Technology. He was the co-founder of SanDisk, where he served as president and CEO until its acquisition by Western Digital in 2016.

Amin J. Khoury is an American businessman who has founded and developed companies in the scientific instrument, medical services, medical devices and semiconductor process equipment businesses. He co-founded B/E Aerospace, an S&P 400 and NASDAQ listed manufacturer of aircraft passenger cabin interior products for the commercial and business jet aircraft markets that employs approximately 9,600 people.

Robert (Bob) Holmes Swan is an American business executive. He was CEO of Intel Corporation from January 2019 until February 15, 2021. He joined Intel as CFO in October 2016 from General Atlantic, after spending years as CFO at eBay, Electronic Data Systems, and TRW Inc. Following the resignation of Brian Krzanich as Intel CEO, he was named interim CEO on June 21, 2018, and appointed to full-time CEO on January 31, 2019. As of February 15, 2021 Swan was replaced by VMware CEO Pat Gelsinger. In July 2021, Silicon Valley venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz announced that Swan will be joining the firm.
