The flag of Malaysia, also known as the Stripes of Glory, is composed of a field of 14 alternating red and white stripes along the fly and a blue canton bearing a crescent and a 14-point star known as the Bintang Persekutuan. The 14 stripes, of equal width, represent the equal status in the federation of the 13 member states and the federal territories, while the 14 points of the star represent the unity between these entities. The crescent represents Islam, the country's state religion; the blue canton symbolises the unity of the Malaysian people; the yellow of the star and crescent is the royal colour of the Malay rulers.

The Bintang Temasek, Singapore's most prestigious national honour, which was instituted on 24 July 1970. The decoration is only awarded to members of the Singapore Armed Forces, the Singapore Police Force or the Singapore Civil Defence Force who have performed "acts of exceptional courage and skill or exhibited conspicuous devotion to duty in circumstances of extreme danger". The badge may be awarded posthumously, although it has never been awarded since its inception.
The Meritorious Service Medal is a decoration that is, within the Canadian system of honours, one of the two Meritorious Service Decorations gifted by the Canadian monarch, through the Governor-in-Council. Created in 1991, the medal is intended to recognize individuals—both Canadian and foreign—who have carried out meritorious acts bringing benefit and honour in either of two categories: military and civilian. Award of the medal grants recipients the ability to use the post-nominal letters MSM.

The Darjah Utama Bakti Cemerlang is a Singaporean national honour instituted in 1968. It was created to replace the Pingat Bakti Chemerlang and is awarded to any person who has performed within Singapore any act or series of acts which constitute distinguished conduct. It may be awarded to people performing acts of distinguished conduct outside Singapore under special circumstances.
The Pingat Jasa Gemilang is a Singaporean national honour and medal instituted in 1962. It may be awarded to any person who has performed "service of conspicuous merit characterised by resource and devotion to duty, including long service marked by exceptional ability, merit and exemplary conduct within Singapore". It may also be awarded to any person outside of Singapore under exceptional circumstances.
The Pingat Keberanian is a Singaporean decoration instituted in 1987, awarded to any person who has performed an act of courage and gallantry in circumstances of personal danger.
The Pingat Bakti Masyarakat is a Singaporean national honour. It was instituted in 1973. The medal may be awarded to any person who has rendered commendable public service in Singapore or for his/her achievement in the field of arts and letters, sports, the sciences, business, the professions and the labour movement.
The Long Service Medal (Military) is a decoration awarded to a member of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) who has completed 25 years of continuous service.
The national Coat of Arms of Singapore is the heraldic symbol representing the Southeast Asian island nation of Singapore. It was adopted in 1959, the year Singapore became self-governing within the British Empire. The committee that created it, headed by then Deputy Prime Minister Toh Chin Chye, was also responsible for the national flag and the national anthem of Singapore.
Winston Choo Wee Leong is a Singaporean diplomat, civil servant and former general. He was the first Chief of Defence Force of the Singapore Armed Forces from 1974–1992 and held the rank of Lieutenant-General.

The Jubilee Medal "50 Years of the Armed Forces of the USSR" was a state military commemorative medal of the Soviet Union established on December 26, 1967 by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR to denote the fiftieth anniversary of the creation of the Soviet Armed Forces. Its statute was amended on three occasions, by decrees of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of February 22, 1968, of December 19, 1969, and of July 18, 1980.
Toh Kian Chui was a philanthropist and multi-millionaire businessman in the construction industry from Singapore. Chui started one of the first road construction companies in Singapore, named the Swee Constructions in 1948. Swee Constructions paved the first runway for the Singapore Changi Airport in the 1960s. The company was also responsible for the building of the facilities in Kusu Island that was enlarged and transformed from two tiny outcrops on a reef, into an island holiday resort. Mr Toh was a generous contributor to many charities in Singapore, and was awarded both the Public Service Star and Public Service Medal by the government of Singapore.
The Honour medal of railroads is a state decoration bestowed by the French Republic in the form of an honour medal for work. It was originally meant to reward, depending on the quality and length of time calculated in calendar years, the services rendered by French agents and labourers and to nationals of the French Union or protectorates, in service with the railroads. The Honour medal of railroads was created by decree on 19 August 1913 as a reward for thirty years of service. Since then, many modifications were instituted by consecutive decrees amending the original text.
The New Zealand Public Service Medal NZPSM is a meritorious service award of the New Zealand Royal Honours System. The NZPSM may be awarded to members of public service who serve in a department under the State Services Commission. Established by royal warrant on 19 July 2018, it was first awarded on 6 November 2018 to five recipients. In 2019, 10 PSM commendations were awarded, and in 2020, 10 medals were conferred in November 2020 to exceptional public servants who have given meritorious service.
