The Pingat Penghargaan (Tentera) (English: Commendation Medal (Military)) is a decoration awarded to any member of the Singapore Armed Forces who has placed himself above his peers through commendable achievements in military command or staff work, or who has performed service over and above the call of duty.

The Pingat Kepujian is the civil equivalent award.

Prior to 1996, the three services issued their own version of the Pingat Penghargaan (Tentera). Whilst retaining the same name, the ribbons and medals differed. The individual service medals where issued in three grades - Gold, Silver and Bronze.

The Pingat Gagah Perkasa is a medal instituted in 1962. It is awarded to any person in Singapore that has performed "an act of conspicuous gallantry and courage in circumstances of extreme personal danger". It may also be awarded to any person who has performed an act outside Singapore in special circumstances.

Malaysian Service Medal Award

The Malaysian Service Medal is a medal given by the King and Government of Malaysia. Established 3 March 2004, the medal recognizes service by members of the Malaysian Armed Forces during the Malayan Emergency, Second Malayan Emergency, and the Indonesia–Malaysia confrontation. The medal was also offered for award to members of the Commonwealth forces from Australia, Fiji, India, Nepal, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom who served in Malaysia during the Malayan Emergency and the Indonesia–Malaysia confrontation. The award is in recognition of "distinguished chivalry, gallantry, sacrifice, or loyalty" in contributing to the freedom of independence of Malaysia. The medal can be conferred and accepted posthumously by next of kin.

Australian Active Service Medal 1945–1975 Award

The Australian Active Service Medal 1945–1975 recognises the service of Australian Defence Force and certain other persons in prescribed warlike operations in the period after World War II, and prior to February 1975. The medal was established in December 1997. The Australian Active Service Medal recognises warlike service after February 1975.

The candidate is also one who has shown initiative, thoroughness, and resourcefulness in their work.

Moeldoko Indonesian general

Moeldoko is an Indonesian government official, businessman, and retired general serving as the current Chief of Staff of Presidency for President Joko Widodo, previously serving as Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces. He graduated from the Indonesian Military Academy (AKABRI) in 1981 and received the prestigious Adhi Makayasa medal as valedictorian of his class. On August 27, 2013, he was appointed Commander of the National Armed Forces by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and approved by the People's Representative Council after serving as the Chief of Staff of the Army for only three months. He succeeded Admiral (Ret.) Agus Suhartono who retired in May 2013.

Mohd Fahmi Aliman Singaporean politician

Mohd Fahmi bin Aliman is a Singaporean politician. A member of the governing People's Action Party (PAP), he is a Member of the 14th Parliament and has been representing the Geylang Serai ward of Marine Parade Group Representation Constituency (GRC) since 2020. He is also the Mayor of the South East District.
