Gary Van Tol (February 3, 1967) is an American college baseball coach and former player. He is the manager of the Boise Hawks. [1] Van Tol played college baseball at Treasure Valley Community College from 1986 to 1988 before transferring to Gonzaga University where he played for coach Steve Hertz in 1989 and 1990. He served as the head coach at Centralia College from 1994 to 1995 and Treasure Valley Community College from 1997 to 2001. He was the head baseball coach at Boise State (2020).
Van Tol enrolled at Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario, Oregon, and played baseball for the Chukars. [2] After earning an associate degree from TVCC, he transferred to Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. As a senior in 1990, Van Tol was named first team All-Pac-10 Conference North Division. [3]
On October 6, 2005, Van Tol returned to Gonzaga as an assistant coach. [4]
On November 27, 2017, Van Tol was named the head baseball coach at Boise State University. Van Tol is the first coach the Broncos have had since 1980, when the school disbanded the program. [5] Van Tol had two years to prepare the Broncos for competition in 2020.

Daryn Wayne Colledge is a former American football offensive guard who played in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons. He was selected in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers and won Super Bowl XLV with them over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Colledge then played for the Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins. From Alaska, he played college football at Boise State University.
The Boise State Broncos football program represents Boise State University in college football and competes in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) as a member of the Mountain West Conference. The Broncos play their home games on campus at Albertsons Stadium in Boise, Idaho, and their head coach is Andy Avalos. The program is 13–7 in bowl games since 1999, including a 3–0 record in the Fiesta Bowl. As of the end of the 2022 season, the Broncos' all-time winning percentage of .728 is the fifth highest in all of collegiate football.
The Boise State Broncos are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent Boise State University, located in Boise, Idaho. The Broncos compete at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level as a member of the Mountain West Conference (MW). George C. Blankley was an American football and basketball coach and college athletics administrator. He served as the head basketball coach at Boise Junior College—now Boise State University—from 1948 to 1962, compiling a record of 206–139. Blankey was also the head football coach at Boise Junior College from the middle of the 1950 season through the 1951 season, assuming the responsibility after Coach Lyle Smith was called into the United States Navy during the early part of the Korean War. Blankley compiled a record of 16–2 as head football coach of BJC. In 1962 was hired as athletic director and head football coach at General Beadle State College—now known as Dakota State University—in Madison, South Dakota. He resigned as head football coach following the 1969 season, compiling a record of 27–39–1 in eight seasons.

The Broncos are led by head coach Leon Rice, hired in March 2010, and play their home games on campus at ExtraMile Arena in Boise, Idaho. Gary Henderson is an American baseball coach and former pitcher, who is the current head baseball coach of the Utah Utes. He played college baseball at Linfield in 1980 and at San Diego State for head coach Jim Dietz from 1982 to 1984. He was the head coach of the Chapman Panthers (1993), the Kentucky Wildcats (2009–2016) and Mississippi State Bulldogs (2018).

John Francis McGough was an American football player and coach of football, basketball, and baseball. He served as the head football coach at Gonzaga University in 1916 and at the University of New Mexico in 1919, compiling a career college football record of 6–2–2. McGough was also the head basketball coach at Gonzaga during the 1916–17 season and at New Mexico in 1919, amassing a career college basketball record of 6–9. He was also the head baseball coach at New Mexico from 1919 to 1920, tallying a mark of 6–5. He was later an attorney in Montana.
Leon Paul Rice is an American college basketball coach, and the head men's basketball coach at Boise State University of the Mountain West Conference. He replaced Greg Graham as head coach of the Broncos on March 26, 2010.
The Gonzaga Bulldogs baseball team is the varsity intercollegiate baseball program of Gonzaga University, located in Spokane, Washington, United States. The NCAA Division I program has been a member of the West Coast Conference since 1996 and its home venue is Washington Trust Field and Patterson Baseball Complex, opened on Gonzaga's campus in 2007.

Albertsons Stadium is an outdoor athletic stadium in the western United States, located on the campus of Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. It is the home field of the Boise State Broncos of the Mountain West Conference. Known as Bronco Stadium for its first 44 seasons, it was renamed in May 2014 when Albertsons, a chain of grocery stores founded by Boise area resident Joe Albertson, purchased the naming rights.
Rui Hachimura is a Japanese professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Gonzaga Bulldogs and has played for the Japan national team. He plays both the small forward and power forward positions. After being selected ninth overall by the Washington Wizards in the 2019 NBA draft, he was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team in 2020.
