Gazeta e Pavarur, (Independent Newspaper) is a daily newspaper in the Albanian language, [1] published in Albania, North Macedonia and Kosovo. [2] It is largest newspaper in the country. Its website is popular in the Albanian, North Macedonia and Kosovo territories and in the Albanian diaspora. [3]

Ilirida Proposed autonomy within the state of North Macdeonia

Ilirida or the Republic of Ilirida is a proposed state in the western regions of North Macedonia, declared twice by the politician Nevzat Halili, once in 1992 and again in 2014. The proposal has been declared unconstitutional by the Macedonian government. The secessionist concept of Ilirida emerged in the early 1990s and was advocated by some Albanian politicians as a solution to concerns and disputes the Albanian community had regarding constitutional recognition and minority rights within Macedonia.

Rilindja Demokratike is an Albanian newspaper founded and continuously published in Tirana. Rilindja Demokratike is the official newspaper of the Democratic Party of Albania. Its chief editor is Bledi Kasmi. Its first publication was on 5 January 1991 and was the first free newspaper since the Fall of communism in Albania, while it functioned against the state newspaper Zëri i Popullit what was the newspaper of the Communist Party and nowadays of the Socialist Party. 2021 Kosovan presidential election

The parliament of Kosovo held indirect elections for president of Kosovo on 3 and 4 April 2021. The elections successfully concluded after three rounds, with Vjosa Osmani winning 71 votes out of a total possible 120. Three political parties boycotted the vote. Nasuf Bejta, also a member of Guxo, the political party Osmani founded, was the only other candidate who received a vote during any of the other rounds.

Mini-Schengen area European economic zone

The Mini-Schengen Area is an economic zone between Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia and Serbia. The plans for it were announced in 2019. The nickname refers to the Schengen Area, a common travel area that includes 26 European countries but not the aforementioned Balkan countries. The idea of the area was brought by Edi Rama to Berlin when he discussed it with the interested nations. Rama took the idea of the old Albanian Prime Minister Fatos Nano (2002-2005), but the idea at that time was impossible to do.
