Gerd Roggensack (5 October 1941 – 17 April 2024) was a German football player and manager.
As a player, Roggensack spent three seasons in the Bundesliga with 1. FC Kaiserslautern and Arminia Bielefeld, [1] and was also part of Borussia Dortmund's 1963 German championship winning team. Roggensack was among the players involved in the 1971 Bundesliga scandal, scoring the game winner for Bielefeld in a fixed match against FC Schalke 04. [2]
After retiring as a player, Roggensack went on to manage several clubs in the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga.
Roggensack died on 17 April 2024, at the age of 82. [3] He was the father-in-law of former Bundesliga footballer Bernd Gorski. [4]

1. Fußball-Club Köln 01/07 e. V., better known as simply 1. FC Köln or FC Cologne in English, is a German professional football club based in Cologne, in North Rhine-Westphalia. It was formed in 1948 as a merger of the clubs Kölner Ballspiel-Club 1901 and SpVgg Sülz 07. Köln compete in the 2. Bundesliga, following relegation from the 2023–24 Bundesliga season. The team are three-time national champions, winning the 1962 German football championship, as well as the Bundesliga twice, first in its inaugural season of 1963–64 and then again in 1977–78. Arminia is most well known as a professional football club, having participated in the first tier of German Football, the Bundesliga, for a total of 19 seasons. Arminia's name derives from the Cheruscan chieftain Arminius, who defeated a Roman army in the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest.

Volker Graul was a German footballer who played as a forward. He began his career as a professional footballer in 1970 with VfL Osnabrück, with whom he became champion and runner-up in the Regionalliga Nord. In 1973, he played two half-seasons with Den Bosch in the first two Dutch leagues. As a player for Arminia Bielefeld, he was the top scorer in the 2. Bundesliga Nord in 1974/75 with 30 goals. He also made 45 Bundesliga appearances for Arminia Bielefeld between 1978 and 1981, scoring six goals. Towards the end of the 1970s, he also played for Preußen Münster and Fortuna Köln in the 2. Bundesliga. Throughout the mid-1990s, he had success as manager and coach of Gütersloh. He would also briefly represent his home country of West Germany in 1969, 1970 and 1975.
