Geromyia penniseti, the millet grain midge, [2] is a species of gall midge in the family Cecidomyiidae. [1] [2] [3] It is found in Africa and South Asia. [2] [3] During the rainy season, it feeds on the developing grains of pearl millet plants. [4]
