The Death Set is an experimental music band with roots in punk rock, sometimes referred to as art punk. The band formed in 2005 in Sydney. The discography of Nadia Ali, a Pakistani American singer-songwriter, consists of two studio albums, three remix albums, thirty-six singles and fourteen music videos. Ali began her career in 2001 as the frontwoman of New York-based house music act iiO, whose debut single "Rapture" reached number two on the UK Singles Chart and Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Chart and charted in several other countries. While with iiO, she released the 2005 studio album Poetica, which reached number 17 on Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart. Apart from "Rapture", the album produced five other singles including the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play number one single "Is It Love?". Ali left iiO in 2005, while the band continued to release material featuring her on vocals, most notably the 2011 studio album Exit 110.

In August 2012, "Promises" received a Gold certification in the United States. On 10 February 2013, Nero won a Grammy Award for their collaborative remix of "Promises" with Skrillex. Their second studio album, Between II Worlds, was released on 11 September 2015.

The preceding album, Ghettoville, had been suspected to have been his last.

<i>Karma & Desire</i> 2020 studio album by Actress

Karma & Desire is the seventh solo studio album by British electronic music producer Actress, released on Ninja Tune on 23 October 2020. Its announcement was preceded by the surprise release of a single-file album by Actress named 88, which included a PDF hinting towards Karma & Desire's track listing. The album was officially announced on 1 September 2020 and described by Actress as being "a romantic tragedy set between the heavens and the underworld". The announcement of the album was accompanied by the release of the lead single from the album, "Walking Flames", featuring British singer Sampha. The album was included in 'Pitchfork's 41 Most Anticipated Albums of Fall 2020.
