Giovanni Lanfranco (born 9 May 1956) is a retired Italian volleyball player. He was part of Italian teams that finished second at the 1975 Mediterranean Games [1] and 1978 World Championships, [2] third at the 1984 Summer Olympics, eighth at the 1976 Summer Olympics, and ninth at the 1980 Summer Olympics. [3]

Mirka Francia Vasconcelos, more commonly known as Mirka Francia, is a Cuban-Italian retired volleyball player who won two Olympic gold medals with the Cuban women's national volleyball team. At 1.84 m (6 ft) tall, she played as a middle blocker before transitioning to an outside hitter later in her career.

Julie Jo Vollertsen Melli is an American former female professional volleyball player. Her main achievement is her part in the silver medal won by the United States at the 1984 Summer Olympic Games.
