Giovanni Scotti (1 September 1911 -1926 October 1992) was an Italian ice hockey player. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1936 Winter Olympics. [1] Scotti was born in Milan, Italy, and later passed away in Garden City, New York, USA. His ice hockey career began as a teenager with HC Milano, where he won his first Italian title at just 16 years old at the end of the 1926/27 season. He secured two more Italian titles with HC Milano in 1931 and 1933. Scotti then became a founding member of another Milan club, Diavoli Rossoneri, winning two additional Italian titles with them in 1935 and 1936. Internationally, he participated in the 1934 and 1935 World Championships before representing Italy at the 1936 Olympic Winter Games, where the team finished in ninth place. He later moved to the United States. [2]
