Girkan (Persian : گيركن‎, also Romanized as Gīrkān; also known as Gīrgān)^[1] is a village in Bajgan Rural District, Aseminun District, Manujan County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 225, in 42 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Bajgan Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Aseminun District, Manujan County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 6,545, in 1,465 families. The rural district has 13 villages.

Aseminun District is a district (bakhsh) in Manujan County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 24,561, in 5,342 families. The District has one city: Nowdezh. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Bajgan Rural District, Deh Kahan Rural District, and Nowdezh Rural District.
