Gjergjan is a village and a former municipality in the Elbasan County, central Albania. At the 2015 local government reform it became a subdivision of the municipality Elbasan. [1] The population at the 2011 census was 5,126. [2] The municipal unit consists of the villages Bujares, Gjonme, Gjergjan, Keshtjelle, Koder Bujares, Muriqan and Thane. [3] The name of the village comes from the Albanian name Gjergj, therefore a Gjergj founded this village. Gjergj is the Albanian name for George.

There is a small inhabitance called Cekrezi in this village, the name is Albanian for Circassians. Circassians would have inhabited this region after the Circassian genocide. Since then they are either fully assimilated into Albanians or have migrated else where.

Gostimë is a village and a former municipality in the Elbasan County, central Albania. At the 2015 local government reform it became a subdivision of the municipality Cërrik. The population at the 2011 census was 8,116. The municipal unit consists of the villages Gostimë, Gjyral, Shtepanj, Shushicë, Shtermen, Malasej and Çartallos.

The seat of the municipality is the town Prrenjas. The total population is 24,906, in a total area of 323.17 km2. The population of the former municipality at the 2011 census was 5,847.

Karinë is a village and a former municipality in the Elbasan County, central Albania. At the 2015 local government reform it became a subdivision of the municipality Peqin. The population at the 2011 census was 1,350. The municipality consists of the villages Karinë, Kazije, Rrozej, Progem, Sinametaj, Drangaj and Garunje.
