Glenn Andrew Bishop (born 25 February 1960) is a former Australian and South Australian cricketer who represented Australia in two One Day Internationals,playing as a right-handed batsman.
At the age of 17,Bishop scored 129 and 101 for Salisbury Second XI in Adelaide's suburban competition,becoming the first to score a century in each innings for Salisbury. He made his first-class debut in 1982–83 for South Australia,primarily as an opening batsman,and was on the fringes of Australian selection in the mid-1980s.
Bishop was awarded an ESSO Australian Cricket Scholarship for the 1985 English cricket season,where he played for Leicestershire County Cricket Club's Second XI in the Second XI Championship. [1]
Bishop made his ODI debut in January 1987 against Pakistan at the WACA Ground in the Benson &Hedges Perth Challenge series as an opening batsman. He scored only six from twenty balls,and took his only catch to dismiss Rameez Raja as Pakistan won the match off the second last ball with only one wicket in hand. [2] He played his second and final ODI at the same venue two days later against the West Indies,this time at number five,managing only 7 from 29 deliveries. [3] [4] Bishop was selected as a reserve for the 1987 Cricket World Cup. [5]
Bishop had a liking for international touring teams,scoring five of his thirteen first-class centuries against them,including three against New Zealand. He also performed best at the Adelaide Oval where he scored ten of his centuries,including his top-score of 224* against Tasmania in 1985–86. He passed the 5000 run mark in the 1990–91 season,setting a seventh wicket partnership record of 198 with Tim May.
Bishop retired at the end of the 1992–93 season,having played 96 matches,scoring 6206 runs at 37.38. In the limited overs format,he played 26 matches,scoring 708 runs at an average of 29.5 with two centuries,as well as his only wicket.
Mark Anthony Taylor is a former Australian cricketer and current Nine Network commentator. He was the captain of the Australian squad which finished as runners-up at the 1996 Cricket World Cup.

Michael Gwyl Bevan is a former Australian cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a slow left arm wrist-spin bowler. He has been credited for initiating the art of finishing matches. For several years,he was considered the world's finest ODI batsman,and topped the ICC ODI batting rankings on numerous occasions. He was the first Canberra-born player to represent Australia at international level. He was known for his ability to run between the wickets,score at a quick rate,rotate the strike,and for his ability to play shots down the ground with ease. He played 232 One Day Internationals (ODIs) for Australia,and was a part of the Australian squads which won the 1999 Cricket World Cup and the 2003 Cricket World Cup. He represented Australia at the 1998 Commonwealth Games,where cricket was included in the Commonwealth Games for the first time,and won a silver medal with his national side.
Allan Robert Border is an Australian cricket commentator and former international cricketer. A batsman,Border was for many years the captain of the Australian team,and led his team to victory in the 1987 Cricket World Cup,the maiden world title for Australia. His playing nickname was "A.B.". He played 156 Test matches in his career,a record until it was passed by fellow Australian Steve Waugh. Border formerly held the world record for the number of consecutive Test appearances of 153,before it was surpassed in June 2018 by Alastair Cook,and is second on the list of number of Tests as captain.
David Clarence Boon is an Australian cricket match referee,former cricket commentator and international cricketer whose international playing career spanned the years 1984–1996. A right-handed batsman and a very occasional off-spin bowler,he played first-class cricket for both his home state Tasmania and English county side Durham. Boon was a part of the Australian team that won their first world title during the 1987 Cricket World Cup.

Michael Edward Killeen Hussey is an Australian cricket coach,commentator and former international cricketer,who played all forms of the game. Hussey is also widely known by his nickname 'Mr Cricket'. Hussey was a relative latecomer to both the Australian one-day international and Test teams,debuting at 28 and 30 years of age in the respective formats,with 15,313 first-class runs before making his Test debut. With his time representing Australia,Hussey won multiple ICC titles with the team:the 2007 Cricket World Cup,the 2006 ICC Champions Trophy,and the 2009 ICC Champions Trophy.
Graham Douglas McKenzie –commonly known as "Garth",after the comic strip hero –is an Australian cricketer who played for Western Australia (1960–74),Leicestershire (1969–75),Transvaal (1979–80) and Australia (1961–71) and was a Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1965. He succeeded Alan Davidson as Australia's premier fast bowler and was in turn succeeded by Dennis Lillee,playing with both at either end of his career. McKenzie was particularly noted for his muscular physique and ability to take wickets on good batting tracks. His father Eric McKenzie and uncle Douglas McKenzie played cricket for Western Australia. Garth was chosen for the Ashes tour of England in 1961 aged only 20. He made his debut in the Second Test at Lord's,where his 5/37 wrapped up the England innings to give Australia a 5-wicket victory.

Deshabandu Pinnaduwage Aravinda de Silva is a former Sri Lankan cricketer and captain,Regarded as one of the best Sri Lankan cricketers,he played in the team as an all-rounder.
