Reginald Glenn Querl (born 4 April 1988) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. A right-handed batsman and right-arm medium-fast bowler,Querl represented Zimbabwe at Under-19 level in the Afro-Asia Under-19 Cup in November 2005,and during the 2006 Under-19 World Cup. In 2010,Querl was selected as one of 21 players to form the first Unicorns squad to take part in the Clydesdale Bank 40 domestic limited overs competition against the regular first-class counties. The Unicorns comprised 15 former county cricket professionals and 6 young cricketers looking to establish themselves in the professional game. [1] Querl played for the Unicorns in the 2011 Clydesdale Bank 40. [2]
Querl made his first-class cricket debut against the Southern Rocks for Matabeleland Tuskers,taking 9 wickets for 101 runs on debut. In his second first-class match,he took 9 wickets for 39 runs. [3] After retiring from playing,Querl was appointed head coach of the Scorchers women's cricket team in Ireland in 2020. The following year he was appointed Women's Performance and Pathway Coach by Cricket Ireland,supporting Ed Joyce in his role as head coach of the Ireland women's cricket team. [4]

Pieter Marinus Seelaar is a Dutch cricketer and a former captain of the national team. He is a right-handed batsman and a left-arm orthodox spin bowler. Having played for the Netherlands at the Under-15,Under-17 and Under-19 levels,he made his senior debut in a C&G Trophy game against Warwickshire on 3 May 2005. He then played in the ICC Trophy later that year. He made his One Day International debut against Sri Lanka on 6 July 2006. Two years later,Seelaar made his Twenty20 International debut.

The Southern Rocks is one of five Zimbabwean cricket franchises. They are a first-class cricket team,based in the Masvingo and Matabeleland South area. They play their home matches at Masvingo Sports Club in Masvingo. The team initially ceased to play after the 2013–14 season. In their 47 first-class matches they won 3,lost 27,and drew 17. However,in December 2020,Zimbabwe Cricket confirmed they would be one of the teams playing in the 2020–21 Logan Cup Southern Rocks won their first Logan Cup trophy in the same 2020–21 season.
Unicorns were a cricket team in England that was formed in 2010 specifically to play in the Clydesdale Bank 40 limited overs competition. They played in that competition until 2013 and from 2014 to 2018 the Unicorns team competed in the Second XI one-day and Twenty20 competitions. The 2014 season also included a 50-over match against Sri Lanka A. Members of the squad were all players without current full-time contracts with one of the regular first-class counties.

The 2011–12 Logan Cup was a first-class cricket competition held in Zimbabwe from 26 September 2011 to 16 February 2012. The tournament was won by the Matabeleland Tuskers,who claimed their second consecutive title,becoming the first team to win back-to-back championships during the franchise era of the competition. The competition was altered from the previous two seasons;during the group stage,each team played eight matches,rather than the twelve played previously;and rather than the title being decided by a final,the winner of the league won the tournament.
