    Lee Burridge is a British DJ and producer who helped launch the underground club scene in Hong Kong during the early 1990s. He currently plays at nightclubs across the world. Renowned for his storytelling musical style in his DJ sets as well as for his energy and enthusiasm in the DJ booth, his style encompasses the deeper and groovier end of house and techno that are equally suited to night time as they are for sunrise or sunset events. Burridge was a member of England's Tyrant Soundsystem and has mixed albums for labels such as Balance, Fabric, Global Underground and Hooj Choons.

    James Lavelle is an English electronic musician, record label owner and curator. He founded the Mo'Wax record label in 1992, and has been the only constant member of UNKLE. He directed the 2014 edition of the Meltdown festival on London's South Bank, and curated the 2016 exhibition "Daydreaming with Stanley Kubrick" at Somerset House. He is the subject of 2016 documentary film The Man from Mo'Wax.

The back of the CD case states, "This CD is dedicated to all innocent people whose lives have been destroyed by extremists."

    Global Underground 031: Dubfire, Taipei is a DJ mix album in the Global Underground series, compiled and mixed by DJ and producer Ali "Dubfire" Shirazinia, one half of progressive house duo Deep Dish. Dubfire's release follows that of his Deep Dish collaborator, Sharam's solo mix, Global Underground 029: Dubai. Previously, Deep Dish have mixed Global Underground 021: Moscow and Global Underground 025: Toronto, along with Afterclub Mixes. With Taipei, Dubfire sought to make the album about more who he is, as opposed to Deep Dish.

    <i>Heavy Drug</i> (Surrender Sounds Mix) 2009 EP by Unkle

    Heavy Drug (Surrender Sounds Mix) is an EP released by British electronic music group Unkle. According to James Lavelle, the track came about during a late night session, when he and his brother, Adian Lavelle, were working on serveal remix projects, which resulted in what they called a "happy accident". The track was reworked during the sessions for Where Did the Night Fall set for release in May 2010. A remix was made during the recording, entitled the Surrender Sounds Mix, which was featured on James Lavelle's Global Underground 037: Bangkok, and was officially released on 16 August. It was delayed in USA, due to distribution errors, and was finally released on 28 August 2009.

    "Too Young to Love" is the debut single by The Big Pink. "Too Young to Love" was released with the double A-side track "Crystal Visions" on 7" vinyl on October 7, 2008, and both tracks were later re-recorded and included on their debut album A Brief History of Love in September 2009. The song was self-produced by the band, and the single was a limited edition pressing of only 500 copies. The sleeve features a homoerotic photograph by Dennis Cooper as its cover. Similarly, a limited edition 12" single for "Too Young to Love," released in Japan only on April 1, 2009, features more of Cooper's photography as its cover. The 12" also features an early version of "Count Backwards from Ten," which was also re-recorded for the debut album, and the exclusive non-album track "With You."
