Glory by Honor V was the fifth Glory by Honor and major professional wrestling event produced by Ring of Honor (ROH). It took place on September 15 and September 16 of 2006 from the Sports World in East Windsor, Connecticut and from the Manhattan Center in New York City, New York.
This was the fifth annual event in the Glory by Honor chronology, with the first taking place in 2002.
Glory by Honor V featured seventeen different professional wrestling matches in two separate nights that involved different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds and storylines. Wrestlers were portrayed as either villains or heroes in the scripted events that built tension and culminated in a wrestling match involving. [1] [2] [3]
The shows main event for night 1 featured KENTA & Naomichi Marufuji vs. The Briscoes (Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe). While the shows main event for night 2 featured Bryan Danielson vs. KENTA (with Davey Richards) for the ROH World Championship.
It is also the fifth Glory by Honor event in Ring of Honor history.
