Content

Miliband revealed that he thought he was not bold enough and suggested that this is why the Labour Party lost the 2015 general election under his leadership. [2]

Much of the book focuses on what has been described as "hopey, changed stuff" and is inspired by Miliband's podcast Reasons to Be Cheerful . [3] A large proportion of the book considers climate change, specifically Ed Miliband's time as Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change. [4]

Reception

Go Big received mostly positive reviews from critics.

Go Big was characterised in a review in The Observer as a "familiar wishlist" of proposals. [5] A review in the Boston Review characterised the book as having "wisdom". [6]

A review in The New Statesman criticised Go Big as displaying a narrow and shallow optimism. [7]

The Times characterised the book by saying that "not all of Miliband's ideas are daft". [8]
