Gold Coast Music Hall is a planned entertainment venue located at 10 Beach Rd, Surfers Paradise, Queensland. It is currently under construction and is due to open in late 2027.
The site served as a Australian rules football oval for the Surfers Paradise Demons in the 1960s [1] and later became known as the Surfers Paradise Transit Centre. [2] [3] [4] In 2015, it was redeveloped as a retail centred named The 4217 with food outlets, a restaurant and a gymnasium. [5] [6] [7] In 2023, the Gold Coast Council announced that the site will be transformed into a 2,800 capacity music hall designed to host live music, cabaret shows, banquets and other corporate events. [8] Construction began on the music hall in January 2026. [9] The adjacent Bruce Bishop car park will upgraded to include five levels. [10]
The nearby G:link tram station on Surfers Paradise Boulevard is 200 metres away from the Music Hall.
