The following is a list of films shot wholly or partly on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. The Gold Coast is a popular location for the filming of Hollywood movies and high-budget Australian movies. The City of the Gold Coast has also emerged as a growing hub for independent feature film production between 2009 and 2019 by content creators living and working in the region. [1]

It is part of a 154-hectare (380.5-acre) entertainment precinct, with the adjacent Village Roadshow Studios and nearby Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast, among other sites operated by Village Roadshow. Movie World is Australia's only film-related theme park and the oldest of the Warner Bros. parks worldwide. As of 2016, it receives a yearly average of 1.4 million visitors.

Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast is a water park situated in Oxenford, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, owned and operated by Village Roadshow Theme Parks. In 2019, the park received 1,120,000 visitors making it the most visited water park in Australia and the 19th most visited water park in the world. Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast is located adjacent to Warner Bros. Movie World, a movie-related park also owned by Village Roadshow Theme Parks. The park remains open all year with some seasonal ride closures and maintenance periods in winter. It is one of several water parks operating under the Wet'n'Wild brand globally.

Paradise Country is an Australian homestead where guests are shown a variety of Australian animals including koalas, kangaroos and emus. The farm tour also includes several shows which feature the making of billy tea, a stock horse demonstration and a boomerang throwing demonstration in Oxenford on the Gold Coast, Queensland. Paradise Country opened in 2005 and is a part of the Village Roadshow Theme Parks.

Screen Queensland Studios are a set of film studios operated by Screen Queensland in Queensland, Australia. They are available for rental by film makers.

Screen Queensland is an agency of the Queensland Government which seeks to expand the production of movies, television series, and computer games within Queensland, Australia. It provides financial support to attract producers to use Queensland as a filming location or for other related services, e.g. post-production. It supports skills development of Queenslanders in the industry and the holding of film festivals and other events. It seeks to increase the involvement of Indigenous Australians in the industry. It often partners with Screen Australia which has similar objectives for Australia.
