The Gorizia electoral district (official name: Friuli-Venezia Giulia - 02 uninominal district) was an uninominal district in Italy for the Chamber of Deputies.
As required by law, it's part of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia electoral constituency.
The Gorizia-district is composed by 51 comuni : Aiello del Friuli, Aquileia, Attimis, Campolongo Tapogliano, Capriva del Friuli, Cervignano del Friuli, Cormons, Doberdò del Lago, Dolegna del Collio, Drenchia, Duino-Aurisina, Faedis, Farra d'Isonzo, Fiumicello, Fogliano Redipuglia, Gorizia, Gradisca d'Isonzo, Grado, Grimacco, Lusevera, Mariano del Friuli, Medea, Monfalcone, Monrupino, Moraro, Mossa, Nimis, Prepotto, Pulfero, Resia, Romans d'Isonzo, Ronchi dei Legionari, Ruda, Sagrado, San Canzian d'Isonzo, San Floriano del Collio, San Leonardo, San Lorenzo Isontino, San Pier d'Isonzo, San Pietro al Natisone, Savogna, Savogna d'Isonzo, Sgonico, Staranzano, Stregna, Taipana, Terzo d'Aquileia, Torreano, Turriaco, Villa Vicentina e Villesse.

The province of Gorizia was a province in the autonomous Friuli–Venezia Giulia region of Italy. Initially disbanded on 30 September 2017, it was reestablished in 2019 as the Regional decentralization entity of Gorizia, and was reactivated on 1 July 2020.

Savogna d'Isonzo is a comune (municipality) in the Regional decentralization entity of Gorizia in the Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northwest of Trieste and about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) southwest of Gorizia, on the border with Slovenia. The name of the village comes from the Slovene word sovodnje, which means "confluence". Near Savogna, in fact, the Vipava river flows into the Isonzo at the conjunction of the Karst Plateau and the Vipava Valley.

The Gorizia Hills is a hilly microregion in western Slovenia and northeastern Italy. It lies on the right bank of the Soča (Isonzo) River, north of the Italian town of Gorizia, after which it is named. The region covers around 120 km2 (46 sq mi) and has about 7,000 inhabitants, mostly ethnic Slovenes, with a small number of Friulian speakers in its westernmost part.

Collio Goriziano is an Italian wine and winemaking region in northeast Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, located in the northernmost part of the Province of Gorizia, in the Italian part of the Gorizia Hills, which extend to neighboring Slovenia. It has been recognized with the official the status of DOC. Colli Goriziano predominantly produces white wines with Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia Istriana, Chardonnay, Pinot bianco, Pinot grigio, and Sauvignon blanc being the leading varietals. Red wine is also produced under the Collio Rosso designation and is usually a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Grotta Regina del Carso is a Karst cave in the village of San Michele del Carso in the municipality of Savogna d'Isonzo. The cave is not open to public, and the access is managed by Talpe del Carso/Kraški Krti speleological group, headquartered in the vicinity of the entrance.

Monte San Michele (Italian) or Debela griža (Slovene) is a hill on the Karst Plateau, in the Italian province of Gorizia, on the border between the municipalities of Sagrado and Savogna d'Isonzo. It is located eight kilometres southwest of Gorizia, on the left bank of the Isonzo, and has four peaks, the highest two of which have an elevation of 275 meters above sea level, while the lowest has an elevation of 237 meters, and Cima Quattro stands at 264 meters.
