Gossip Girl is the debut EP by the South Korean girl group Rainbow. It was released on November 12, 2009 with the song with same name as title track. [1]
DSP Media announced on November 4 they will debut a new 7-members girl group, called "Rainbow". [2] On November 6, they released another teaser image of the girls and revealed their names, ages, respective colors and the name of their debut EP. [3] On the same day, they released a screencap image of the music video for "Gossip Girl". [4] During the debut time, they were called the "second KARA" due to both groups are signed on the same label. The music video for "Gossip Girl" was released on November 12, along with the EP release. [5]
The group debuted on November 14, on the MBC's show Music Core . They also promoted on the shows KBS's Music Bank , SBS's Inkigayo and Mnet's M! Countdown . They followed the promotions of the EP with the song "Not Your Girl" on January 16, 2010. The promotions ended on February 21, on the show Inkigayo.
The song "Gossip Girl" was produced by Hur Youn Won, "Not Your Girl" was produced by Han Sang Won and "Kiss" was composed by SS501's member Park Jung-min.

Rainbow (Korean: 레인보우) was a South Korean girl group formed in 2009 by DSP Media. The group is composed of seven members: Woori, Seungah, Jaekyung, Noeul, Yoonhye, Jisook and Hyunyoung. They released their debut EP Gossip Girl on November 12, 2009, and since released two studio albums and five extended plays, In October 2016, DSP Media announced that Rainbow would disband after seven years because their contracts expired. In November 2019, the group was re-formed for their tenth anniversary.
So Girls is the second EP by the South Korean girl group Rainbow. It was released in South Korea on April 8, 2011 with "To Me" as the title track. A repackaged version of the EP was released on June 22, 2011 with the song "Sweet Dream" as the title track.
2NE1 is the second eponymous extended play by South Korean girl group 2NE1. It was released on July 28, 2011, through YG Entertainment, in both physical and digital formats.
