Grace Kesande Bataringaya (born 4 September 1970) is a Ugandan politician and member of parliament. In 2011, she was elected as a representative in parliament for Rubirizi district. [1] [2]
She is a member of the ruling National Resistance Movement political party. [3]
She completed her primary level education in 1983 at Kyanamira primary school, In 1987 she completed her Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) for lower secondary education at Hornyby girls secondary school in Kabale. She completed her advanced secondary level known as Uganda Advanced Certification of Education (UACE) in 1990 at Seseme girls secondary school in Kisoro. In 1993 she graduated from Makerere University with a bachelor's degree of Arts in Social science. [4] in Kampala.
She is a director in charge of Livelihood Community Volunteer Initiative for Development [5] (COVOID), a local NGO operating in Rubirizi district. [6]
Jacklet Atuhaire Rwabukurukuru Mukwana is a Ugandan oil and gas expert, international development professional and politician. She is the elected Woman MP for Sheema District and is not affiliated to any political party in Uganda. She succeeded NRM's Rosemary Nyakikongoro who in 2015 had defeated her in the party's primary elections in controversial circumstances. Atuhaire is also a former guild president for the University of East London and is a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

She served as the MP in the tenth, and ninth parliament and lost in the 2021–2026 elections. In the ninth parliament, Peace Kusasira, took the seat from outgoing MP, Margaret Nalugo.
Annie Logiel was a female Ugandan politician, a trained nurse, founder of Karamoja Traditional Healers Association, and district woman representative of Moroto in the 10th Parliament of Uganda under the National Resistance Movement political party. She was elected in 2016 and passed on in 2017. She died at the age of 48 at the Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen in Denmark where she was taken for an operation to remove a tumour on her brain. It was reported by her family that she went through the brain tumour operation but later developed complications leading to her death.
