Great King Munwon (born Wang Jeong) was a Korean Royal Prince as the 5th son of Taejo of Goryeo and Queen Sinmyeong, [3] also the younger brother of Tae,Yo and So. [3] He later married his half sister,had 2 sons and a daughter who would eventually become the 2nd wife of King Gyeongjong,his nephew. Although his death date was unclear,it considered that he died during the latter half of Gwangjong's reign. [7]

Queen Heonae of the Hwangju Hwangbo clan,or formally called Grand Queen Dowager Heonae,was a Goryeo royal family member as the second and oldest daughter of Wang Uk,and younger sister of King Seongjong who became a queen consort through her marriage with her half first cousin,King Gyeongjong as his third wife. After his death,she served as a regent from 997 to 1009 as regent of her son,King Mokjong. From this marriage,Queen Heonae became the third Goryeo queen who adopted her maternal clan's surname after Queen Heonui,her half first cousin. She is better known as Queen Dowager Cheonchu.
Queen Seonjeong of the Chungju Yu clan was a Goryeo royal family member as the paternal granddaughter of Prince Sumyeong and maternal granddaughter of King Gwangjong who became a queen consort through her marriage with her maternal first cousin or paternal second cousin,King Mokjong as his first and primary wife. From this marriage,Queen Seonjeong became the sixth reigned Goryeo queen who followed her maternal clan after Queen Mundeok,her mother.
Queen Heonui of the Chungju Yu clan was a Goryeo royal family member as the daughter of Wang Jeong and a granddaughter of King Taejo who became a queen consort through her marriage with her first cousin,King Gyeongjong as his second wife. From this marriage,Queen Heonui became the second reigned Goryeo queen who followed her maternal clan after Queen Daemok,her mother-in-law and formerly aunt.
Queen Mundeok of the Chungju Yu clan was a Goryeo princess as the youngest daughter and child of King Gwangjong and Queen Daemok,also the youngest sister of King Gyeongjong.
Wang Seo,known by his title of Marquess Deokyang and later Duke Yangyang,was a Goryeo Royal Prince as the second son of King Sinjong and Queen Seonjeong,also the only younger brother of King Huijong. Through his third son,he would eventually become an ancestor of King Gongyang. In 1204,his father visited his manor,but died there not long after that. In 1211,he was exiled alongside Huijong by Choe Chung-heon (최충헌) to Ganghwa Island.
Lady Dongyangwon of the Pyeongsan Yu clan was the daughter of Yu Geum-Pil who became the 9th wife of Taejo of Goryeo. Her father was a representative general under his command who showed many achievements,such as helping Taejo on several battlefields and gave the big contribution with participating in the unification of the Later Three Kingdoms and established the new Goryeo dynasty. Both of Yu Geung (유긍),Yu Gwan-yu (유관유) and Yu Gyeong (유경) were her brothers. She bore Taejo 2 sons:Wang Ui and Wang Won.
Queen Munhye of the Chŏngju Yu clan was a Goryeo princess as the first and oldest daughter of King Taejo and Queen Jeongdeok who became the wife of her half brother,King Munwon. With this marriage,she then followed her maternal clan,the Chŏngju Yu. Though her younger sister,she would become the maternal aunt of King Seongjong and became the mother-in-law of her half nephew,King Gyeongjong since her only daughter married him as his second wife. Alongside her husband who was posthumously honoured as a king,she was also posthumously honoured as a queen.
Lady Cheonchujeon of the Gaeseong Wang clan,personal name Wang Aji,was a Goryeo Royal Princess as the third child and oldest daughter of King Gwangjong and Queen Daemok who married her first cousin,Prince Cheonchu.
Queen Daemok of the Hwangju Hwangbo clan,also known as Queen Taemok,was a Goryeo princess as the only daughter of King Taejo and Queen Sinjeong,also the younger sister of King Daejong who became a queen consort through her marriage with her half older brother,King Gwangjong. She was also the mother of most his children and the first Goryeo queen to use her maternal surname,Hwangbo.
Queen Jeongdeok of the Chŏngju Yu clan was the sixth wife of Taejo of Goryeo who came from the same clan as his first wife and bore him seven children. Through her two elder daughters' marriages,she established ties with the powerful Chungju Yu and Hwangju Hwangbo clan,becoming the maternal grandmother of Queen Heonui,King Seongjong,Queen Heonae,and Queen Heonjeong.
Queen Sinmyeong of the Chungju Yu clan or long-called as Queen Sinmyeongsunseong was the third Goryeo queen consort through her marriage as the third wife of Wang Geon,its founder and become the mother of his 5 sons and 2 daughters.
Queen Sinjeong of the Hwangju Hwangbo clan was the fourth wife of Taejo of Goryeo who became the mother of Daejong of Goryeo and Queen Daemok. All of the Goryeo kings after Gyeongjong were her descendants.
Daejong of Goryeo was a Goryeo Royal Prince as the only son of King Taejo and Queen Sinjeong,elder brother of Queen Daemok and father of King Seongjong. Through his children,he became the grandfather of Queen Wonyong and maternal grandfather to both Mokjong and Hyeonjong.
The Hwangju Hwangbo clan is one of the Korean clans. Their Bon-gwan is in Hwangju,North Hwanghae Province. Hwangbo clan is originally was Huangfu and brought by Hwangbo Gyeong (황보경) from Tang dynasty to Silla dynasty. Their founder was Hwangbo Je-gong (황보제공) who was a nobleman in the Paegangjin,Hugoguryeo that become the father in-law of Kingdom of Goryeo's founder,Taejo of Goryeo as his daughter was Taejo's 4th Queen Consort,Queen Sinjeong. He served Taejo as one of his Three Major Grand Masters. Then he officially began the Hwangju Hwangbo clan.
The Chungju Yoo clan or Chungju Yu clan is one of the noble Korean clans in the early Goryeo dynasty. Their Bon-gwan is in Chungju City,North Chungcheong Province. Their founder was Yu Geung-dal (유긍달) who was a Chungju powerful nobleman in the end of Kingdom of Unified Silla and become the father of Queen Sinmyeongsunseong,Taejo of Goryeo's first queen consort and third wife. She also become the mother of 5 princes and 2 daughters. After died,Yu Geung-dal was honoured as Taesanaesaryeong.
