Guangdong Evergrande V.C. is a Chinese professional women's volleyball club, currently based in Shenzhen, Guangdong, founded in 2009 and sponsored by Evergrande Group. They are the winners of the bronze medal at the 2013 FIVB Women's Club World Championship and won one champion title of Chinese Volleyball League.

Guangdong Evergrande Women's Volleyball Club (廣東恆大女子排球俱樂部 (traditional) / 广东恒大女子排球俱乐部 (simplified))is a professional women's volleyball club based in Guangzhou, Guangdong and play in the 361° Chinese Women's Volleyball League. The club was founded in April 24, 2009 and became the first professional volleyball club in China.[ citation needed ]
Guangzhou, also known as Canton, is the capital and most populous city of the province of Guangdong in southern China. On the Pearl River about 120 km (75 mi) north-northwest of Hong Kong and 145 km (90 mi) north of Macau, Guangzhou has a history of over 2,200 years and was a major terminus of the maritime Silk Road, and continues to serve as a major port and transportation hub, as well as one of China's three largest cities.
Guangdong is a province in South China, on the South China Sea coast. Guangdong surpassed Henan and Shandong to become the most populous province in China in January 2005, registering 79.1 million permanent residents and 31 million migrants who lived in the province for at least six months of the year; the total population was 104,303,132 in the 2010 census, accounting for 7.79 percent of Mainland China's population. This also makes it the most populous first-level administrative subdivision of any country outside of South Asia, as its population is surpassed only by those of the Pakistani province of Punjab and the Indian states of Bihar, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. The provincial capital Guangzhou and economic hub Shenzhen are among the most populous and important cities in China. The population increase since the census has been modest, the province registering 108,500,000 people in 2015.
With 12 straight win, they won the Chinese Women's Volleyball League Group B in 2009–2010 season and qualified to the Group A.[ citation needed ]
In the 2010–2011 season they play in the Chinese Women's Volleyball League Group A, in the semifinal, they got huge came back from 26 points down to defeat Shanghai,[ citation needed ] but they lost 2–3 to defending champion Tianjin Bridgestone in the finals.[ citation needed ]
Shanghai Bright Ubest Women's Volleyball Club is a Chinese professional women's volleyball team based in Shanghai that plays in the Chinese Volleyball League. The team has altogether won five league titles. Their head coach is Wang Zhiteng. The team was sponsored by Guohua Life and Dunlop, and now is sponsored by Bright Food (Group) Co., Ltd and Bright Dairy & Food Cop., Ltd.
During the 2011–2012 season, they defeated the defending champion in the semifinal, making Tianjin Bridgestone the first time can't reach to the finals in the past decade. They won their first title in March 3, 2012, and became the 5th Champion team in Chinese Women's Volleyball League history.[ citation needed ]
Guangdong Evergrande played at the 2013 Club World Championship and claimed the bronze medal winning 3-1 to Voléro Zürich. [1] The team had Shen Jingsi named Best Setter. [2]
Shen Jingsi is a Chinese volleyball player. She was part of the gold medal winning team at the 2010 Asian Games.
In 2014, due to head coach Lang Ping is resigned and the main sponsor Evergrande Group decided to put more of their investment to football league, Guangdong Evergrande VC was demoted to Group B league of China because of the unsatisfactory result, for about two seasons.
In Season 2017/18, as the Group A league is expanded, Guangdong Evergrande VC is announced to came back to the Chinese Group A League.

Katarzyna Ewa Skowrońska-Dolata is a female Polish volleyball player, a member of Poland women's national volleyball team and Italian club Foppapedretti Bergamo, double European Champion, gold medalist of Italian, Turkish, Chinese and Azeri national championships.
Feng Kun is a retired China women's national volleyball team setter and captain. She was awarded MVP and Best Setter award at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, where China won the gold medal in volleyball.

Chinese Volleyball Super League, often abbreviated to CVL, are the pre-eminent men's and women's professional volleyball leagues in China. It was founded in 1996 as the Chinese Volleyball League and is organized by the Chinese Volleyball Association (CVA), operating with IRENA Group.
