Guitarras Hermanas is the first album released by the flamenco-influenced Latin guitar instrumental duo Lara & Reyes. The most successful single from this album was "Cielo Sin Nubes" (Uncloudy Sky).

Lara & Reyes is an instrumental group founded by Sergio Lara and Joe Reyes in 1989. It performed flamenco-influenced Latin guitar instrumental pieces. Their first album Two Guitars - One Passion released in 1992 under Talking Taco Records Record Label, the album was available only at the duo's concerts and in a limited number of record stores around their home of San Antonio, Texas, later the album was released in 1996 under Higher Octave Music Record Label. By the time Two Guitars - One Passion was released in San Antonio, both Joe Reyes and Sergio Lara were receiving top honors in the San Antonio News's annual media awards. Both have won the acoustic guitar category, for instance, and Sergio's mandolin playing won him a first place award in the miscellaneous instrument category. The two have won the San Antonio Current award as "Best Latin Band" for two years running.

Jonny Martinez is an Tejano Tejano/country singer, producer, arranger, composer, and songwriter, based in San Antonio, Texas. He has positioned himself as an independent artist who is interested in recording authentic Tejano, Tex-Mex and country music. Matilde Artero is a Spanish actress who appeared in films from 1926 through 1961. She began her work in silent films, starting with Luis R. Alonso's La loca de la casa for Producciones Hornemann. Her first talkie was as 'Pepita' with Carlos Gardel in the 1933 French-made Les Studios Paramount Spanish musical romance Espérame, directed by Louis J. Gasnier. Her final screen appearance was in the production At Five O'Clock in the Afternoon, a Spanish drama film directed in 1961 by Juan Antonio Bardem.

The 2016 Tejano Music Awards was held on November 12, 2016, at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts in San Antonio, Texas. The deadline for nominations for the various Tejano Music Awards categories by the artists' representative are due by June 19, 2016. Nominations will then be announced at a later date for public voting. The annual 2016 Tejano Fan Fair was held at the Historic Market Square in San Antonio from March 17–20, 2016.

Las Hermanas is a feminist, autonomous Roman Catholic organization created between 1970 and 1971 for Hispanic women who are involved in the Catholic Church. It was incorporated in Texas in 1972 and was the first group in the Church in the United States to represent Spanish-speaking women. Las Hermanas has worked for the improvement of the lives of religious Hispanic women and their communities. They are outspoken critics of sexism in the Church and their communities. Las Hermanas is very political and has taken part in protests and other civil rights actions. The organization is currently considered to be on "hiatus," with plans to continue their work in the future.

<i>Primero Soy Mexicana</i> 2018 album by Mexican singer Ángela Aguilar

Primero Soy Mexicana is the second studio album by Mexican singer Ángela Aguilar, released on March 2, 2018, by Machin Records. The album was produced by Aguilar's father, Pepe Aguilar and features ranchera and mariachi music. Her grandmother Flor Silvestre's first film, Primero soy mexicano, inspired the album's title.

"Nubes" (transl. "Clouds") is a song recorded by Puerto Rican singer Rauw Alejandro for his second studio album, Vice Versa (2021). The song was written by Alejandro, while the production was handled by Caleb Calloway. It was released by Sony Music Latin and Duars Entertainment on August 31, 2021, as the second promotional single from the album. A Spanish language reggaeton and pop song, with elements of electronic music, it declares the singer's eternal love to the girl who has won his heart.
