    The 37th World Artistic Gymnastics Championships were held in Anaheim, California, United States, from 16-24 August 2003.

    Three gymnastics disciplines were contested at the 2012 Olympic Games in London: artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and trampolining. The trampoline events were held at the North Greenwich Arena from 3 to 4 August; the artistic events were also held at the North Greenwich Arena, from 28 July to 7 August. The rhythmic gymnastics events took place at Wembley Arena from 9 to 12 August.

    The men's artistic gymnastics team all-around competition at the 2015 European Games was held at the National Gymnastics Arena, Baku on 14 and 15 June 2015. The team final also served as a qualification round for the all-around and event finals.

    Elisa Hämmerle Austrian artistic gymnast

    Elisa Hämmerle is an Austrian artistic gymnast. She represented Austria at the 2020 Summer Olympics and finished sixty-sixth in the all-around during the qualification round. She also represented Austria at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics and finished twelfth in the all-around final. She has won four medals on the FIG World Cup circuit, one silver and three bronze. At the 2020 European Championships, she became the first Austrian gymnast to qualify for an event final at the European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships when she finished eighth on the balance beam

    Vera Dorothea Wilhelmina van Pol is a Dutch artistic gymnast. She represented the Netherlands at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics. She won a bronze medal with the Dutch team at the 2018 European Championships. She is the 2015 and 2018 Dutch all-around champion. She competed at the 2013, 2014, 2018, and 2021 World Championships.

    Barbora Mokošová is a Slovak artistic gymnast. She is the 2020 European bronze medalist on the uneven bars and the first gymnast representing Slovakia to receive a medal at the European Championships. She represented Slovakia at the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games. She is also a two-time World Challenge Cup champion on the uneven bars.

    Qualification for men's artistic gymnastics competitions at the 2020 Summer Olympics was held at the Ariake Gymnastics Centre on 24 July 2021. The results of the qualification determined the qualifiers to the finals: 8 teams in the team final, 24 gymnasts in the all-around final, and 8 gymnasts in each of six apparatus finals. The competition was divided into three subdivisions.
