The 2022 Commonwealth Games, officially known as the XXII Commonwealth Games and commonly known as Birmingham 2022, was an international multi-sport event for members of the Commonwealth of Nations that took place in Birmingham, England between 28 July and 8 August 2022.
The Cayman Islands competed in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland from 23 July – 3 August 2014. A team of 28 athletes in 7 sports is representing the country, the largest team ever being sent by the territory.
The Cayman Islands competed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast, Australia from April 4 to April 15, 2018. The Cayman Islands announced a team of 22 athletes. However, Jamal Walton did not compete. It was The Cayman Islands's 11th appearance at the Commonwealth Games.
